Staff were very friendly and helpful and tended to the needs of guests. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and modern. There was a good selection at breakfast.

Casa Blanca is a charming guest house in Pioneer Park of Windhoek. It is close to the University of Namibia and thus an ideal place for their guests. I stayed there by recommendation of a colleague for one week while working and then another night at the end of my trip as private solo traveler. The rooms are spacious and clean, a little antique, it fits perfectly with the style. The water is hot, WiFi works comparatively well for Namibia and there is A/C cold/hot. The breakfast is the standard fare, but you may order eggs any style or pancakes (European Style). It is very charming and definitely recommended.

Everything about the Windhoek Garden Boutique Hotel is simply perfect. I arrived after being released from Hospital as I had had an accident while on a cycle tour around Namibia. Im from New Zealand. The staff were exceptional, absolutely went above and beyond to help me and assist in my recovery. The grounds are an absolute delight to walk or to just simply sit under one of the amazing jaccaranda trees was pure bliss. Helpful staff, great restaurant food, made for a wonderful recovery place to be. I would go back and stay there in a heartbeat. The linen, the towels, the bedding all top quality. My kinda place for sure. The reception staff were always so helpful even to the point of organizing taxis so I could travel to the supermarket, or when I was feeling better and wee tour around Windhoek. I actually ended up staying for 19 nights as I was unable to fly due to my punctured lung, The wonderful Manager and all the staff became an amazing family to me.

    The proximity to the workshop venue (NAMFISA) and also to the mall. The shopping experience was fabulous, and I also found most Namibians to be warm and friendly. Windhoek is a great city, historically rich too!

    InDrive in Windhoek makes getting round very easy.

    InDrive in Windhoek makes getting round very easy. However the location markers seem tricky - either drivers can't find you or the time indicated in the App is not correct. Ordering food ahead and going to collect at restaurants made evenings after work very easy. The Col'cacchio restaurant at Grove Mall had a fabulous view of the setting sun over drinks or dinner. Loved that aspect! Grove Mall has everything you would need by the way.

    Easy to get around as InDrive worked well and no traffic congestion in the mornings. InDrive satellites not accurate for wait times and exact pick up location at times. Be prepared to add a message on exact pick up location. Super clean and very tidy city. Guest houses offer good rates and facilities to counter the pricey hotels. Great choice of restaurants around, especially at Grove Mall near my hotel. Colcacchio has an incredible view of the panoramic sunset skyline - beautiful. Their bar is also well stocked and great choice of wine. The Indian restaurant at Grove served great meals to go and at affordable prices.

    Windhoek is a great, small African city.

    Windhoek is a great, small African city. It's easy to navigate through if you know just a few key roads, the people are friendly (but they will try to squeeze a bit extra from a foreigner, so just be shrewd), and it's safe. I say this as one coming from South Africa, but it is a lovely, clean African city. Namibia is a country filled with unique things to see, so try to get out beyond Windhoek if you're able.

    It was a wonderful experience in Namibia thanks to all the front desk and restaurant staff that served me. The facilities were great in terms of cleanliness and value for money. The location of the hotel was very good for me. It is central to most services that l needed. Thanks a lot to Caroline, Alta, Magdalena, and all the other staff members that l have forgotten their names, especially the lady who was doing room service.

    This was our second stay at Windhoek Gardens Boutique Hotel. it is a lovely hotel with great facilities. the restaurant serves excellent foid for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had 2 types of rooms, to be honest the second room the Classic was much better than the Deluxe, being newer, less spacious but more comfortable. the staff are exceptional, so friendly and helpful, thoroughly recommend this hotel

    The Weinberg is by far the best hotel in Windhoek. The rooms are spacious, and very clean. They thought of everything when they furnished the rooms. The bathrooms are exceptional. There is nothing one can want for, at your stay at the Weinberg. Truly the only place to stay.
