Leon is a pretty and interesting city.
Leon is a pretty and interesting city. We enjoyed a walking tour and the art museum was absolutely fantastic. We also really enjoyed doing a few trips from here - to the beach/mangroves at Las Penatas, and a volcano hike. Leo is a very visitor friendly city.

We found the one-way streets quite confusing for driving...

Beautiful, historic and young student city.
Beautiful, historic and young student city. Wish I stayed longer here! Museum of the Revolution explained the history and context of Leon so well, would highly recommend. The old part of town is a quaint colonial place with a lot of restaurant options; I recommend the small food tour offered to see the market and learn about the different fruits and dishes. I felt perfectly safe and got a lot of infos about the tour options in and around Leon. Although I just stayed for one night, I was super happy as there was a fridge available & the fans at the beds did their job well. If I could add anything it would be airconditioning in the dorms.
