Very nice and cosy hotel with extra friendly and helpful staff. Inside there are very steep stairs so for old people or people with disability I would say it is too heavy ad there is no elevator.

Amsterdam is very pedestrian friendly and even more bike friendly. Most locals seem to commute on bikes so they are definitely given the priority when it comes to any type of movement. Always be on the lookout for them when crossing the street as they ride fast and there are barely any traffic lights. The city itself is very cute with boats, bikes, bushes, trams and a few cars. The architecture is beautiful. The locals speak English so it's easy for tourists.

Amsterdam is a busy tourist city, with nothing much to offer. We only stayed for three days and were only there to meet friends from America who were passing through, so didn't actually choose Amsterdam as a holiday destination. Prices were very expensive, bars and restaurants were avaerage and there was a general smell of drugs hovering over the whole city

I had an idea in my mind of what it would be like.

I had an idea in my mind of what it would be like. I should have done it years ago. I feel like the downfall of western civilization has sped up. I know there has always been the seedy areas of Amsterdam but I always felt there was a sense of pride and hard work. The hustle and bustle of the streets was exciting and stressful. Cars, bikes, trains and pedestrians was a bob and weave that you had to stay sharp. Would I go back. No. There are too many other places I would rather go. Am I glad I went. Sure. The pizza was really good.

It's a beautiful city.

It's a beautiful city. We don't normally do typical touristy things but, in Amsterdam, it really is worth doing a boat tour to enjoy the canals. We also did the Heineken Experience which was a lot of fun. The city does feel safe and we felt comfortable walking around at night, in busy areas etc. The people of Amsterdam are just lovely- we don't speak Dutch but everyone we encountered was happy to speak English and they were all warm and friendly. The only thing I'd say to be careful of is the traffic. The roads are busy with cars and trams but also many many bikes. Pay attention when crossing the roads!

The people were friendly and helpful. Loved the museums, including the Moco Museum. We went on a wonderful food & culture tour with Roman where we stopped at Cafe Hegeraad (apple pie) and other great food spots. Dinner one night at Pesca, very good. A truly walkable city that's easy to get around.

In my opinion, Amsterdam is a fantastic city with magnificent buildings, atmospheric canals, nice people, freedom, and interesting experiences. I especially loved the non-touristy places and canals. It's worth it to just go for a walk and look around. You can see beautiful details on facades, boats, and streets. It is also modern, so you don't have to worry about a lack of civilization.

It was very close to the Metro about a 2 minute walk so appreciated ease to get to Amsterdam City Centre. Nice comfortable room, good size for me and my sister and a nice bathroom. Check in and check out yourself at the desk with their system and they also stored our bags on the last day after checking out while we went out Also only 30mins using train and metro to and from the airport and cheaper , cost us about €13(£12) to get to the hotel and airport compared to taking a taxi

Loved how close it was to central, about a 20-30m walk, no curfew, keyless entry, easy to access, cleanliness, plenty of utilities, great great selection of hygiene products and extras such as hair dryers and even a games console in our room, no stress about getting back late either with the 24/7 free ferry, very comfortable bed, great value for the price at being one of if not the cheapest hotel in Amsterdam, excluding hostels.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Outside of the main city centre of Amsterdam, but located right next to the Gaasperplas metro station with a direct line to Amsterdam Centraal. The room itself was nice and modern looking and clean. The bed was very clean and comfortable, and the shower was great! There was ample storage space for clothes and bags in the wardrobe area by the bathroom.

Amsterdam is just expensive, but its one of those city's people love to visit. The hotel is good, its quite a way from the center, but the trams run well, probably 40-60 minute total from hotel to city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful, probably the stars of the show, otherwise its just a standard chain hotel relatively well priced considering where it is.

Not bad if you’re looking for a cheap hotel in Amsterdam. Quite far away from the city centre, but you can walk which takes about 45 minutes or use public transport. There are no shops around the hotel and the only restaurant is burger king next door. Staff were very nice. It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room and a hairdryer.
