Everything! The nicely furnished, very spacious, and comfortable room, with a comfortable bed, shower, and bathtub. The room was very quiet, I didn't hear any noise from the restaurant that was in the other part of the building. The owners are very friendly, and one can easily feel their passion for hospitality. It was a pleasure for me to get to know them. They pay a lot of attention to the comfort of their guests and have put a lot of effort and attention to detail when designing and furnishing their boutique hotel. They also own the restaurant next door, where they served delicious breakfast during my stay. The hotel is centrally located in Baarlo, very close to a supermarket. Would definitely stay again if I am back in Baarlo. Highly recommend this place.

Beesl is located midway between Roermond and Venlo. Both cities can be reached within 30 minutes. If you want to visit both cities and still prefer quiet accommodation with plenty of opportunities for long walks along the Meuse River, this is the perfect place.

Beesel is a quiet village yet close enough to the highway.

Beesel is a quiet village yet close enough to the highway. So, accessibility isn't a problem. You don't have to spend ages looking for a parking space either. We stayed at Mert 5, a hotel restaurant with six comfortable rooms. It was a great base for us to go shopping in Roermond. It's a 15-minute drive, and all-day parking costs €6.50.

It's a beautiful region perfect for lovely bike rides.

It's a beautiful region perfect for lovely bike rides. The Meuse River is fantastic. The bike ride to Bruggen in Germany through the forests is also highly recommended. There are good restaurants with delicious and plentiful food, such as De Troubadour or the ferry in Kessel. For shoppers, Roermond and Venlo are easily accessible by bike.

An unexpected gem in the heart of the dragon village of...

An unexpected gem in the heart of the dragon village of Beesel, where the owner works with great dedication and commitment. It's not large, easily accessible, and has ample parking nearby. A lively terrace, a good menu, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere, without being overly crowded. You won't want to miss this.

Beesel-Drakendorp. Village atmosphere. Traditions. Dragon-slaying. Open-air theatre with approximately 400 performers who are either residents or born in Beesel. Historical parade with decorated houses. The next performance will take place in August 2023.

Beesel is a very charming little village.

Beesel is a very charming little village. We were here in the winter, so I can imagine it's even more charming in the summer when everyone's outside. It's fun, they have a thing about dragons here; they call themselves the dragon village, and you find dragons everywhere. It's a great base for hiking and cycling.

Very nice small hotel in a quiet village, a great place to relax after a working day, room is big and comfortable, the shower is clean and well maintained, and they have a small restaurant that serves great local food. The staff is always available and helpful The local people are welcoming which gives a great feeling

It was easy to find and easy to get back on to the bike route, Maasroute, from the hotel! I liked the courtyard restaurant very much ! And my upstairs suite was sweet! I also very much appreciated the bicycle garage, where I could leave my bike, safely, AND charge the bike battery, also safely!!
