Breda is a peaceful, wonderful place where you can relax, take long walks in the nature, along the river, in the woods, on the fields. There are very good restaurants and pubs in Breda, friendly people everywhere. Nothing and nobody disturbs you ever! It is the right place to rethink your entire life and put everything in a new light! We visited close friends, so it was a holiday trip but not for sight- seeing. Breda itself has not much to offer, it is a mid-size town with a pedestrian zone in the center but no real highlights. Apart from the usual shops there are some nice restaurants and bars, but you have to know them. Arriving, it had been pouring with rain and I took a taxi, also simple. Breda is a delightful town, compact and easy to navigate around. After I booked, they let me know that they had a downstairs booking for a party that would go on till late on my last night. So I added a night to my stay in Amsterdam.
