The room was so Nice. Good size. With balcony. Asked for quiet room and got just that. 2 minutes away from everything. Extremely good food and drinks. Very good breakfast. Very service minded and Nice scents in products. Will be back!

Location was excellent, just two minutes walk from the city center. Breakfast was not included but there is excellent kitchen utility at the place, and supermarket is very close! One of the best accommodations i have ever stayed, Mr. Khalid is very great and approachable, there is a parking on site which is a life saver. Best recommendations for this house! Great value for money! PS. apologies to the young lady for scaring her at the arrival :)

It's really beautiful! Charm, character, cleanliness, and the owner is just so incredibly kind and helpful. Just a hop, skip and jump from the main square, the Markt. Gouda is just so pretty. Great place to work from, btw, if you have to work as we did, is the Chocolade Fabriek, just along the canal to the left as you exit the house. And the cafe at the museum is wonderful!! We loved it all. Amazing stay! Thank you!

This is an excellent home from home! Angelique has made a beautiful bespoke small house out of the coach house. They both gave an excellent welcome. They have really thought about attention to detail which made you feel comfortable. We used the sofa bed downstairs and asked for the beds upstairs to be separate all of them were very comfortable. The walk into town is very quick, you can be in the town square in 10 minuets. I would throughly recommend this as a place to stay.

This is a hidden gem in the lovely city of Gouda. A ground level apartment which is so cosy and welcoming. I stayed in late November and the property was lovely and warm. I was welcomed and handed the key and shown features of the property which was much appreciated. The bed was quite soft, but very comfy, and there's a little kitchen with fridge and microwave so you can make yourself something good. The bathroom has a heated floor, which was very much appreciated with the cold weather outside! Good shower too. The little seating area at the front of the property has an amazing view of the canal through the high windows. The adjustable blinds add to your privacy, but you can still see outside. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe in the city and the property. I very much enjoyed my stay, and would happily come again.

Delightful location right in the center of Gouda. And such a charming house! One thing to note: it's an old Dutch house, so access to the upper floors is by steep spiral stairs. This is not a complaint, just be aware that you'll have some climbing.

Lovely family and charming place. We felt like home from the first moment and they’ve been very kind with us. The house looks even better than the pics and it was very clean and organized. They reactive with the messages and if you ever need something they will bring it to you! I 100% recommend this place, thank you!

I went to school here for 3 years. Technical College.

I went to school here for 3 years. Technical College. (First year in Hoogeveen) . Always enjoyed visiting and love the ambiance and settings. Living and working in the USA now for over 32 years makes coming back here very special. It's still easy to get to downtown Gouda, I walked from my hotel, but the train station is at the edge of downtown. Great places to eat all around and lots of things to see and do. I walked around the market place and around the Sint Jan's Kerk (a beauty) . Of course I bought some Gouda cheese and Stroop wafels. Brought them home with me, although half of the stroopwafels did not make it all the way back to the hotel.

Gouda is much more relaxed than Amsterdam with plenty to do.

Gouda is much more relaxed than Amsterdam with plenty to do. It's centrally located and with good access to public transportation making it a great place to spend a few days in Gouda, then head out for day trips to Kuekenhof, Amsterdam, De Hague, or anywhere else your heart desires.

Really pretty city , lots of thing to see and do,...

Really pretty city , lots of thing to see and do, restaurants are good and the beer is fantastic ! Town is ideally placed to visit many other places in the Netherlands as it is serviced by an excellent rail system – don’t even think about drinking into the town use the train .

it’s a wonderful small city. very clean and feels safe to walk around. lots of independent stores with variety of goods - cheese: kasswinkleje shop has great selection, clothes, genuine syrup waffles shop. great bars around the market square. we went to the Grand Central Cafe which has great service, friendly staff, great food choices, nice spot to people watch around the Market square. we didn’t have chance to go to the cathedral but it looks wonderful with best stained glass windows in the city brochure which is very useful. we wanted to do more walking around but ran out of time.

Lovely little town, not too busy and has a number of...

Lovely little town, not too busy and has a number of gorgeous streets and markets. It has everything you need and feels a less touristy and busy. Also has lots of local shops to buy food, souvenirs, clothes, etc. It's a very pretty and friendly town.

If you want to have an authentic Dutch experience, Gouda is...

If you want to have an authentic Dutch experience, Gouda is the town for you. Small enough to get around easily on foot or bike, it has everything you would want to see in a Dutch town; the old city hall, the longest church in the Netherlands with amazing stained glass windows, windmills, canals; it's all there. And don't forget the cheese and stroopwafels. Cheese market is every Thursday during the summer, and the regular market every Saturday. The people are amazing, some of the most hospitable people in Europe. Don't miss this jewel of the Netherlands!

Nice hotel just a few steps to the city center. The room was spacious and sparkling clean. The beds were comfortable. There is public parking just under the hotel for 30 eur./day, but a better solution is the parking at REWE supermarket just in the next building for 15 eur./day )it is a bit tight, but OK for a medium-sized car.
