A great surprise in our trip round the Netherlands, Wonderful location the town is extraordinary for a short stop off season; we loved everything about the place. I do not know why people are complaining about the tunes played by the near church it is the wonderful part of the visit. The rooms are about the average in Holland- that is why I also do not get the low marks given particularly by the Dutch. Comfort, quality, design, free snacks and drinks, very comfortable beds, high quality of cosmetics, bed-linen, pillows, towels, etc. Just only positive experience. Also the supper and breakfast bought at the owner's restaurant nearby- just great experience, the food so tasty and affordable. The room upstairs for three people brought just sheer happiness among our daughters screaming with joy seeing the luxury and space.

Feel yourself absolutely taken care of. The hotel itself is a piece of art. It is absolutely worth staying here for a few days just to enjoy it. Everything is old styled but in perfect condition. The stuff is amazing! Breakfast is made personally for you. All the photos are 100% up to date

A Magical Stay in the Heart of a Romantic Dutch Gem oder in Monnickendam From the very first moment, this place felt like something out of a fairytale. The location is absolutely perfect – right by the canal and the dam, surrounded by charming cafés and wonderful restaurants. It’s in the center of everything, yet still feels peaceful and romantic. What truly makes this hotel special is the warmhearted family behind it. The owner is a truly kind and generous woman who puts all her heart into making her guests happy. You feel cared for in every detail. The rooms are newly renovated, with beautiful high ceilings and a modern, cozy design. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches – a generous coffee and tea station, complete with capsules and delightful Dutch mini-stroopwafels. It’s these small things that make a big difference. The staff are absolutely lovely – warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and breakfast was a real treat. Parking was also easy and free, either near the church or by the harbor – very convenient for such a central location. This was one of the most pleasant and heartwarming stays I’ve had in a long time. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone – whether you’re a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a traveler in search of authentic Dutch hospitality. A truly beautiful experience!

Great hotel, clean, spacious room, comfy beds. Staff very polite and helpful. Amazing position, right next to the metro station - You are at Central station in five minutes literally. I have stayed before in different parts of Amsterdam, even closer to the city centar but Tribe is definitely best connected. Will always come back here 🖤

Everything!!! Stayed for our anniversary. The whole stay was wonderful, staff are fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful, maybe a little more variety, breakfast was super! Such beautiful rooms, they've done a great job. We will be back!!

    You should visit Monnickendam in April.

    You should visit Monnickendam in April. The weather was inclement, rainy and cold, when I visited in early March. It's a wonderfully quaint, beautiful and quiet town with lovely architecture, a few shops and eateries and the last thing you'll see is other tourists.

    A beautiful village 20minutes by public transport from the centre of Amsterdam. The location is a quiet village but with plenty of restaurants and snacks available. There is a local supermarket and specialist artisan shops. We ate at most of the restaurants alongside the canal. Harbour suits and Bobs are especially friendly and have good food. As a base for a city break to Amsterdam it is perfect. You are close enough to enjoy the highlights, hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. The quiet easy pace of Monnickendam provides a pleasant contrast with its slower pace and tranquility.

    Really beautiful refurbished town house, which definitely lives up to the pictures! The service is lovely and very personal since there's only three guest rooms. The location is perfect - central Monnickendam while also being close to the bus into Amsterdam. Waking up to the smell of fresh bread in the morning and the overall quality of the breakfast is a lovely touch!

    Plenty of parking is available. Monnickedam is a small, safe, very cute, and peaceful suburb. After a 10-minute walk to the bus station, you can easily reach Amsterdam. The bus is often, great, and quick. The room looks nice and it was very spacious. Bigger than most hotel rooms.

    Beautiful place. Stayed for 3 night family of 5 in the family suite. Great breakfast with wonderful and child friendly personnel. Bus to Amsterdam close by. But even Monnickendam has all you need for a great vacation. Playground, beach, restaurants, and bars.
