We stayed for 3 nights at this lovely location! Nice apartment over 2 levels with a well equipped kitchen close to shops. We used it as a base for day trip to The Hague and to the tulip gardens. if you don’t have a local debit card do not park in the parking station at the shopping centre. There is nobody on-site to help and the machine wouldn’t except our cards. Thankfully a helpful local helped out with his card. Other parking avail close by We cooked and ate in. Our host met us for check in and gave us the tour, and we were greeted by their dogs and chickens! The apartment was spotless, airy, quiet, and calm. The historic part of Schiedam is very idyllic and we were situated on the canal and near the main museums and bars. Everything we needed was provided in the stocked kitchen, and the bathroom was very grand with a powerful shower. It is just 5 mins walk from the tram stop which will take you into Rotterdam centre in about 20 mins. Lots of lovely local restaurants to choose from. We were able to hire bikes from the hotel and cycle into Rotterdam and out to Delft. The hotel was quiet and very clean and nicely decorated, the room was spacious.
