Beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. Horses on the grass directly behind the parking. Beer, wine and other drinks in the fridge for us. Extraordinary huge breakfast in the lovely breakfast room. Large modern shower. Super in every way.

It’s a building with a lot of history, great quality of materials, beautiful service and in proximity to downtown. Even the IT system was down, they found ways to make the check out for all customers, without huge waiting time. The manager and receptionist was really helpful with a specific request, that will remain forever in my memory, as they helped and after mentioned it was complementary from the house. Will never forget!

Beautiful accomodation in a stunning location next to the castle. The breakfast was really good and it overlooks the castle. We also did the high tea for lunch and the sharing dinner at the restaurant at the castle and it was amazing. Would highly recommend it.

The village of Stein is not remarkable in itself, but real good location close to the A2 motorway and to the city of Maastricht. I had a great dinner in this pub: https://www.veurletste.nl/, see photos (pub-style food, reservation required on Friday or Saturday as the café is popular with locals).

Using the same towel for two days isn't very hygienic, plus wiping with a damp towel isn't pleasant. There were small branches on the elevator floor when we arrived, and they were still there when we left. 🤔

Surprisingly nice little town with all amenities.

Surprisingly nice little town with all amenities. I've never had such a good, large ice cream for such a low price at the local ice cream parlor. The local Chinese restaurant is also highly recommended and definitely affordable. A perfect base for exploring Maastricht. We used P&R Noord, which is highly recommended.

Positive: It was a good visit.

Positive: It was a good visit. The room was as expected and the breakfast was excellent. The access card malfunctioned twice, but this was resolved promptly by generating a new card that worked perfectly.

A pretty good hotel with good value for money.

A pretty good hotel with good value for money. Well suited for stopovers or short stays. Good access to the motorway, etc. However, Stein is a very quiet place, so there's nothing going on.

We were supposed to stay overnight to visit Maastricht the next day. A basic room with everything you need, even air conditioning! We arrived late at night and didn't see much of Stein.
