Having stayed at this hotel before we had no hesitation in rebooking it. The location is perfect for us as family all live nearby in Hoogezand, Noordbroek and Groningen. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable beds which is important. The daily buffet breakfast certainly didn't disappoint and we used the restaurant on occasions including treating our family to a final farewell dinner. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful for\\rom the front, reception, restaurant staff, room service and ground staff.

Probably the best place I've ever stayed! At least, I’m sure I’ve never given a “10” for all parameters. Silence. No extraneous sounds, you can't hear your neighbors at all. Having arrived, we just sat for a while and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this place. Cleanliness. Clean in the toilet, clean towels, clean in the bathroom, clean floors (I walked on it in white socks, and they remained white!), no dust anywhere, even on the radiators. If you need to cook, there is a kitchen area right in the room, which has a refrigerator, microwave, stove, sink, dishes, coffee machine, kettle. The living room is very cozy, with a wonderful bay window. And in our case (we were there on New Year’s Eve) with a good view: all the fireworks were visible, and when we were tired of standing at the window, we sat on the sofa and could still continue to watch them. Great breakfast! Juice, coffee, tea, croissants, buns, butter, jam, fruit, eggs, pancakes, yoghurt, muesli, ham, cheese — there is plenty to choose from. The hostess greeted us with coffee and cookies. She appeared only upon check-in, and then at breakfast in the morning. Welcoming and friendly, but clearly does not like long empty conversations, which we really appreciate in people)). Therefore, it was very comfortable to interact with her.

Absolutely wonderful and spacious room built in a modernized and largely re-build farm right on top of one of the infamous gas-extraction locations in the north of Groningen. Room is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, good taste and stylish, extremely clean, very modern bathroom. Amazing breakfast is served in the "tea-house", heated with an open hearth. Owners are very friendly, dedicated hosts, who go the extra mile for their guests. We will certainly come back!

If you are travelling across Europe from Sweden to get a...

If you are travelling across Europe from Sweden to get a ferry back to the UK (as we do) Zuidbroek is an ideal stopping off point. You do not need to hunt for your hotel through a busy town- it's just off the motorway! And the next day you have the pleasure of driving slowly across the Afsluitdijk after a pleasant wander round Makkum - the ferry is only 2 hours from there.

Zuidbroek is a lovely hotel; the building is pleasant.

Zuidbroek is a lovely hotel; the building is pleasant. It's quiet, and the rooms and beds are wonderful. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. We recommend it to others and will definitely return on our way north.

For us as a large family, it was a very pleasant stay in Zuidbroek. Everything was perfect. The restaurant offers delicious food and the waiters are very friendly. The playroom is also fantastic.

We were there to cycle. We drove to the starting point.

We were there to cycle. We drove to the starting point. The hotel is conveniently located near the A7 motorway, but there's no noise pollution, which means the views from the rooms are not great. Appingedam and Delfzijl are very nice. We cycled through several villages in the Wierden region. The next day we went to Bourtange, also very nice, about a 30-minute drive from the hotel.

The hotel staff withdrew different amount of money from my card without authorisation and after one month still didn’t refund me 250 euro that their system of payment kept . This is really a bad management for a hotel which costs was 460 per night (without breakfast). I won’t suggest anyone this hotel.

The location was nice. Don't mind the solar panel park view on one side. The other side has some green and some farm animals including alpacas which you can walk to. The hotel inside is also very spacious and nice. Rooms are huge. Big plus.

The main bar and restaurant are good. The hotel looks new but isn't. It's well maintained and clearly has been updated well at some point. Bathroom was excellent. Bed slept well
