Bodo has much to offer visitors.
Bodo has much to offer visitors. It has a convenient bus service. If you enjoy hiking and cycling there are many routes in and around the town. Take the 40 minute bus ride to the beautiful pink beach, Mjelle. Take your bicycle on the Moskenes ferry to Lofoten Island for the day. I was here only one day and unfortunately during bad weather (not terrible rain, but very windy) but I still walked through the whole city and wish I had more time to go to the surrounding beaches and hiking trails. The cosmopolitan atmosphere of this beautiful city on the North coast of Norway makes Bodø a must-see place. Located in the Arctic Circle, Bodø offers a great atmosphere of small-town living, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, hiking, as well as concerts, shopping, and fine dining. Bodø Concert Hall, street shops, fine restaurants, and regular ferries to the Lofoten archipelago are some of the many local attractions available to visitors. They helped me find the correct bus stop to the airport, instead of the drop off only one outside! We also had early check in, which was greatly appreciated.
