A place we’ll continue to visit after getting married in the Domkirkeodden (cathedral ruins) 10 years ago. It’s peaceful but with plenty to see and do and only 1hr 45 from Oslo. Lake mjøsa is stunning and if you follow the lake trail you’ll find lots to photograph, enjoy the scenery and culture as well (don’t miss the famous Skiblandener which runs during the summer months) There is beaches safe for swimming and lots of great places to eat out. Getting about by foot is easy although some stepper sections but the bus is well connected and easy to use.Guest review byHELENUnited Kingdom
