The rooms and shared areas and kitchen are clean and functional. Free coffee and you can use the kitchen to prepare your own meals. I guess this place is used a lot by people who travel for work, for example at the shipyards?

Finding the location was easy. Parking at the door was easy. The view of the sea was great. We enjoyed the fire on a rainy evening. The hosts were friendly and answered our questions about local hiking trails.

The location in Alesund center with many shopping options, the staff was extremely friendly and gave me good suggestions for day trip to Geiranger. The lobby and the rooms are designed in an elegant way, with warmly lightening and furniture! Would book hotel 1904 again at next visit!

Excellent hotel offering the best breakfast spread I have encountered on my Norwegian travels. Good coffee and hot fresh loaf of bread everywhere morning. The hotel us spotless as was my room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great as it's a very short walk to the Central Bridge and a nice quiet area.
