I got a nice spacious room (all the rooms are facing Pokhara Lake with a balcony), it was clean and super comfortable. The owner and his son were very helpful. The property is higher up on a side hill, a few minutes nice little walk from the main street on the higher end of the lakeside. It’s quiet and nice up there. I was able to leave my things as well when I went trekking. Definitely recommended.

The team of Sarangkot Mountain Lodge was really friendly and responded fast to my questions for example regarding spa bookings. They welcomed us with a small show of Nepalese music, we even got two Nepalese scarfs and really nice tea. The dinner was good and staff was friendly. In the afternoon we had now view of the mountains but the sunrise in the morning from the room as well as the terrace was purely magical.

Wonderful room with stunning view of Pokhara and the Himalayas from the roof top resturant. A heater to keep you snug and warm and nice hot shower. The home cooked food was delicious and made with love and the beautiful owners could not do enough for us. 1st class Guesthouse on a low budget in a great location. We would stay here again. We loved our stay here. Every picture that the host has provided in this site is exactly how the property looks. Bonus is wake up early and watch the mesmerising snow mountains and cloud filled mountains. It is an amazing property with a super human host. Property is spec and clean. Breakfast was super yumm... Host was super sweet to customize the breakfast for babies, she was extremely helpful. Request people who plan to travel to adhere to the check-in checkout timings. I bet you / your family and friends will fall in love with this stay. Calm ,serene and beautiful.

The 4-bed mixed dorm has a lake view and a pretty little balcony. The dorm beds have curtains, fans and sockets. Beds are comfy and rooms and toilets are clean. The private rooms with AC and lake view are amazing with a bit of a rustic Himalayan vibe. They also have their own balcony. Only downside is that you usually have to book them several days in advance because they are so popular. There is always hot water in the showers. Hotel has a nice common room in the third floor with hammock and couches and with a wonderful view to the lake. There is also a kitchen for guests to use. Pretty nice for making noodles for a snack or even preparing a bigger meal. The hotel does not have a restaurant. The staff is very helpful and will basically arrange you anything you will need in Pokhara. You can also leave your additional belongings here if you plan to go for a hike. This is more peaceful hostel compared to Kiwi and Pokhara Backpackers for example, so don't expect as social or party experience. Most of the partying happens in southern lakeside, and this hotel is in the northern lakeside.

This is the best guest house I have been in Nepal. This is owned by a lovely family who always do their best to make sure the guests are comfortable.They give you all information you need. I got given a spacious room with a good price as I stayed there long and I ended up staying there for 2 months. We could use fully equipped kitchen. Mandira, the owner is very knowledgeable of vegetables and herbs and tught me how to cook nepali food. I enjoyed chatting with her and I felt like being in homestay. I'll definitely come back. Thanks so much!
