We had a fabulous stay at Bardia Eco-Lodge. The rooms and gardens are lovely. This is a true rustic eco-lodge blending beautifully with the natural surroundings. The lodge is walking distance to both the Elephant Breeding Centre and the main entrance of Bardia National Park. Our host Madhu, is a certified safari guide and we enjoyed an exceptional day on private jeep safari with him and a driver seeing a tiger, rhinos, many deer and monkeys.

Very comfortable wonderful lodge. It is an ‘institution’ in the safari sector of Nepal and deservedly so. The management (BC), staff and guides (Bhim in particular) are all incredible, nothing is too much trouble.

This small hotel is set about 10 mins walk from the main gate into Bardia National Park. The bungalows are set well back from the small road hence they are very quiet indeed. The bungalows are spaced out so you are not bothered by noise from anyone else. The bungalow was well constructed with a spacious bathroom and air conditioning if needed. The two single beds were very comfortable. The hotel has a small restaurant and bar set in the garden. There is a good choice on the menu and food arrives in good time . It is cooked exactly as you asked for. The staff were exceptionally friendly helpful and informative. They organised our pickup to and from the airport and organised two walking tours in the forest with their resident guide who was so helpful. They also cooked some great food to take into the park as a small picnic. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

I really don't know what to say - words fail me.... Gratitude, respect, thankfulness!!! Thank You Very Much, it's like saying nothing... 20 out of 10 possible points won't reflect the experiences I had here!!! Simply-you have to stay there for a while to experience it all. I stayed at this accommodation a couple of nights. Pappu and his family were wonderful hosts, they were very attentive and cooked fresh, organic and delicious food! Pappu is also a very special guide: he could spot multiple animals that my eye couldn't see at first, among which even a tiger!!! But also several species of deer (swamp deer 😍), otters, and paradise flycatchers were an amazing sighting and we were lucky enough even to see a rhino! I miss the wonders of Bardiya... Thank you Pappu dai for your hospitality and guidance!!
