The place feels like home and is just on the edge of the national park. The owner made sure I had everything I needed, even though he wasn't there for the majority of my stay. Suds and Didi that help at the guest house were so amazing. Very caring and friendly and made sure I was entertained during my stay. Didi's cooking is the best I had during my travels in Nepal. This place might not be for people that like comfortable hotels, but I loved staying in a mud house and being this close to nature. I highly recommend it.

The location of the lodge is amazing. The cabins are basic but it really suits the vibe. It feels like you’re actually staying in the jungle. The owners are super nice & friendly. They make sure everything is perfect during your stay. It’s also possible to do walking & jeep tours through the National Park. The owner will be your guide. An absolute must.

We had a truly wonderful time Barahi jungle lodge. It was hugely relaxing and peaceful, with our beautiful room looking over the river. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was lovely too. Food was really delicious every meal. Loved all of it - very fresh and varied. We did two full days of drives and saw extensive wildlife, with a fleeting glimpse of a tiger in the distance. However the large number of rhino, deer, monkeys, some sloth bears, bison and birds mean that it’s a really enchanting experience in beautiful surroundings. Huge thanks to every member of the team for making it such a wonderful experience. There was extreme kindness and generosity shown.

I had an amazing stay here. I felt immediately at home. It’s such a nice place to relax, be in nature and spend time with amazing people. Hari is an AMAZING host, he is very kind and makes you feel so welcome in Chitwan. ☀️ I did the full day safari and we saw lots of animals up close, including 2 bears!! Hari knows the jungle so well so we had lunch at an amazing view point. As well as a the safari, I loved the yoga class, jungle walks and beautiful sunsets. 🌅 I extended my stay and was very sad to leave. So I would recommend this homestay to anyone interested in a relaxing jungle visit! Thank you Hari!

This is the best guesthouse I have ever been to. Manoj and his family are adorable. The food is great, the room is cosy and i loved my walking safari in the jungle where I could spot many animals. I felt like at home and wish i extented my stay because it was so relaxing ;)

A Perfect Nature Retreat! I had an amazing stay at River Bank Jungle Resort. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, it’s the perfect place to unwind. Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member !
