Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! The location of the lodge is amazing. The cabins are basic but it really suits the vibe. It feels like you’re actually staying in the jungle. The owners are super nice & friendly. They make sure everything is perfect during your stay. It’s also possible to do walking & jeep tours through the National Park. The owner will be your guide. An absolute must.

Staff, location, spa, restoraunt, atmosphere all were super! They helped us with different tours such as Taru village tour, elephant safari tour, arranged a cultural show night though we were only guests (as it was off season) thanks for everyone from the staff. Room facilities and everything is in high condition.

I had an amazing stay here. I felt immediately at home. It’s such a nice place to relax, be in nature and spend time with amazing people. Hari is an AMAZING host, he is very kind and makes you feel so welcome in Chitwan. ☀️ I did the full day safari and we saw lots of animals up close, including 2 bears!! Hari knows the jungle so well so we had lunch at an amazing view point. As well as a the safari, I loved the yoga class, jungle walks and beautiful sunsets. 🌅 I extended my stay and was very sad to leave. So I would recommend this homestay to anyone interested in a relaxing jungle visit! Thank you Hari!

This is the best guesthouse I have ever been to. Manoj and his family are adorable. The food is great, the room is cosy and i loved my walking safari in the jungle where I could spot many animals. I felt like at home and wish i extented my stay because it was so relaxing ;)

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights during the monsoon season. It was perfect. This is a hidden gem 💎. Peaceful, beautiful and the employees were so kind and professional. We did one safari walk each morning and an afternoon drive. Absolutely amazing. Our 13 year old wanted to move to Nepal and live at the Sanctuary resort. As much as I would prefer to keep this peace of paradise to myself, I would definitely suggest to stay here.

I didn‘t know what it means living together in a community but now I know it. I experienced the jungle safari with the jeep and an amazing, english speaking guide, doing some bicycling with the cycles of community members enjoying the sunset at the agriculture, meeting students on the way to school, doing some fishing and collecting snails in the river, eating local food and dancing with the women group. I also enjoyed drinking the clean and refreshing water and taking a shower at the chwadi while talking to the community. The friendly and helpful staff is preparing delicious food by using regional and fresh products.
