The resort has a beautiful location with river side sitting areas and the rooms are pretty neat tidy.

If you would like to stay in a true Nepali homestay, Nanu and Kali’s place is amazing. They offer a very pure, yet comfortable experience. They have two rooms for rent, and live on the property themselves. Nanu will be able to guide you on hiking safari’s as well for a good price. Apart from that the food is amazing. :) Would 100% recommend anybody looking for a Nepali experience to go here!

My stay at Bardiya Eco Safary Homestay was nothing more than exceptional! Since before my arrival to Bardiya, Mukti was making sure through what's app that I knew how to arrive at Bardiya since I was crossing from the west border from India to Nepal. The moment I arrived I was received with so much kindness by Renuka (Mukti's wife) and he's mother with a beautiful little Hindu greeting. Showed me to my room which was clean, spacious, with its own attached bathroom and a beautiful view from the garden outside. In the beginning I booked for 3 nights but ended up staying 8 days because of how amazing and loving everything in the homestay was. From the delicious cooking of Renuka to the incredible hospitality of all members of Mukti's family. They make you feel like family. I did 3 jungle walks. Because my main purpose was to be lucky enough to see a tiger in the wild! And I can say (with a big smile while writing this) that Mukti made my DREAM (since I was 6 years old) come true! I was able to see a majestic tiger drinking water on my first jungle walk! Not just that but spotted rhinos, many kinds of birds, otters hunting for a snake and many more fauna inside the national park. All of these was possible due to Mukti's incredible knowledge of the place and animals. And this is just one of all the incredible things I experienced at Bardiya Eco Safary Homestay! Everyday I ate delicious traditional and organic Nepalese food. Everything is grown in the homestay garden. They even make their own paneer! Oh how I miss Renuka's delicious food! We played cards every night, enjoying great conversations about Nepalese culture and about life in the terai region...Learned how to make momos from scratch. Went around town to experience the local life. And even did a little ride at night around the town with Mukti's nephew in which we were lucky enough to spot a leopard crossing the street!!!

Very comfortable wonderful lodge. It is an ‘institution’ in the safari sector of Nepal and deservedly so. The management (BC), staff and guides (Bhim in particular) are all incredible, nothing is too much trouble.

A wonderful peaceful place with incredible service. Anil and his family and staff is very lovely people and will help you with whatever you need (junglewalk, jeep, treehouse, bus-tickets, ect). The food is so delicious and the prices are very friendly. I stayed here for 6 days :) Would recommend to everybody who visits Bardiya.

The time at Mr. B's was just awesome! When you visit Mr. B's it is more like family than being a guest! They were super friendly and helped us where they could. With the amazing guides we did some trips (jungle walk, jeep safari,) Mr. B organized for us.We saw tiger and rhino and big group of elephants.Also the food was the best I had ever in Nepal. And the accommodation is just amazing: Nice room, a beautiful garden, the river and just 2mins walk to the entrance of the National Park. Mr. B's place is definitely worth going to! I just HIGHLY recommend going there!


Staying at this homestay felt like being home, Sadul and his family are some of the kindest people I have come across during my travels. The passion and dedication they have for giving their guests a good experience is unmatched. I’m happy to be the first ever Egyptian guest at this place! The rooms are spacious and spotless, the food is some of the tastiest I have had in Nepal, all organic and made with love by Sadul's family. The surroundings of this place are so serene and the sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking. Sadul will arrange everything you need like Jeep Safari, walking Safari, and you can even rent a bike to go around the area. I was traveling solo and I have met some amazing people at this homestay, this place is very social, and Sadul and his family will make sure everyone is comfortable. Bardiya is indeed a beautiful place and staying in a place like this was the highlight of my time there.

Baba is extremely passionate about conservation and offering an experience that will not be forgotten. He is persistent and relentless in his pursuit of tiger encounters, with his contagious enthusiasm and keen insight into the tiger's psychic spurring guests on. As a result, I had a rhino and two tiger experiences that are hard to beat. The gardens of the retreat are tranquil and inviting. An added bonus is that it is located directly behind the National Park, making access easy. All staff made us feel extremely welcome!
