Very good hotel. several buildings right at the brink of a mountain. the view in a clear day is in fact like here on the pics. in Feb AC as a heater works well, no brainer. Food is amazing. menu is as thick as a novel, and they know how to put it all together! to the extend that i dont think it would be a bad advice to come there just for a meal.

Exceptional stay!! Stayed there for 2 nights, and it was so nice and comforting. The view from the bed, the few minutes walking distance view pointl, the delicious food from the restaurant and more important the family owning this place. The owner offers different types of services, trekking, tours, taxi service...etc There is a heater in the room so it was very nice, remind me french winter vibe 😀.

With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.

    Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and villagers are very friendly, safe and secure. In every morning or evening, we walk around Nagarkot village to Nagarkot sunrise tower through pine tree forest. It has good viewpoints to snowcaps of Hamalia range, sunrise, sunset and community villages in valleys. In Nagarkot, we can have fresh meat, chicken, egg and milks all are fresh and tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby Nagarkot but enjoy cooking fresh meals , breathing fresh breeze, so nice of community life there. In some day , visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square by bus, and can go to several sites as day trip. Good to learn Tamang culture. For us, at least we want to stay at least 7 days but we found very late so we can only stay 4 nights. We will definitely come back Nagarkot

    The town itself is small and very local.

    The town itself is small and very local. We came to Nagarkot to hike, enjoy nature and get away from the noise of Kathmandu. We ate meals at The Fort. We walked into town to view the sunset but spent no time there other than watching the sunset.

    The hotel and grounds are lovely, with beautiful views of the Himalayas in the early morning. However the property is somewhat isolated, being located all by itself on the mountainside. So there is nothing much to do there and nowhere really to walk to (Nagarkot not being much of a town to begin with) Also the swimming pool and hot tub is indoors in a rather unpleasant, humid, glass-encased room. It is also an odd shape, so as to interfere with lap swimming,

    The owner is super friendly and helpful. He showed me all around the local area. I kept booking more days to stay because I couldn't get enough of Nagarkot and the nearby villages. Amazing views. Hotel is nice and clean, decent rooms and facilities for the price (which was very reasonable). Great food, especially the thali set menu for dinner, absolutely to die for.

    Let me start by saying that all the facilities in this hotel is flawless. The view of Himalaya is breathtaking and might've been the best I've seen from Nagarkot. The restaurant served very fine food and drinks and the SERVICE-staff was friendly.
