I stayed at Unique Point Home Stay for two nights and I really loved it. The family is very kind and their food is among the best I have eaten during my trip in Nepal. If the sky is clear you will see the most beautiful sunrise from the rooftop & you can go on hikes from there. If you come by bus the only thing you should now is, that you will have to walk around 30min downhill but you can catch a taxi up in Nargakot and come down that way, too.

Room is big, clean and confortable, having new fournitures and modernist colourful design. Room has also a nice balcony with mountains view. Bathroom is also spacious and confortable. The hotel has a lovely and huge roof terrace, where clients can enjoy the nountains view and is recommended to go there to enjoy the sunrise view. If sky isn't foggy, you can see clearly all the mountains around and if you are lucky also Everest mountain. The staff has been very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is rich of options - such omelette, sausages, cornflakes, pastries,fresh fruits, yogurt - and is very tasty. Location is perfect as it is in the town and just five minutes walking from the bus stop.

With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.

    Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and villagers are very friendly, safe and secure. In every morning or evening, we walk around Nagarkot village to Nagarkot sunrise tower through pine tree forest. It has good viewpoints to snowcaps of Hamalia range, sunrise, sunset and community villages in valleys. In Nagarkot, we can have fresh meat, chicken, egg and milks all are fresh and tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby Nagarkot but enjoy cooking fresh meals , breathing fresh breeze, so nice of community life there. In some day , visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square by bus, and can go to several sites as day trip. Good to learn Tamang culture. For us, at least we want to stay at least 7 days but we found very late so we can only stay 4 nights. We will definitely come back Nagarkot

    The town itself is small and very local.

    The town itself is small and very local. We came to Nagarkot to hike, enjoy nature and get away from the noise of Kathmandu. We ate meals at The Fort. We walked into town to view the sunset but spent no time there other than watching the sunset.

    The hotel and grounds are lovely, with beautiful views of the Himalayas in the early morning. However the property is somewhat isolated, being located all by itself on the mountainside. So there is nothing much to do there and nowhere really to walk to (Nagarkot not being much of a town to begin with) Also the swimming pool and hot tub is indoors in a rather unpleasant, humid, glass-encased room. It is also an odd shape, so as to interfere with lap swimming,

    Definately will go back next time we are in nepal. The family was really nice and welcoming my daughter played with their daughter sometimes. It is in a perfect location, for example if you ride the local bus for a little bit then you will end up in the city of nagarkot to do the panoramic hiking trail. Just a short walk from the home stay is the suspension bridge and if you walk just a little longer you will find a beautiful waterfall. One last thing, this is only an opinion, but they had a dog that my daughter really loved.

    This homestay is a beautiful spot. Very laid-back atmosphere, lovely garden around and very friendly host. The Food was excellent and cheap, one of the best we had in Nepal! You have to wait for it a bit tho, but it's all cooked fresh. We are bird-watchers and the amount of birds you can spot from the terrace or balcony is just amazing! We really loved our stay here and would come back anytime! For that price, this is an absolute gem.

    Hotel Country Villa captured 180degrees view sitting at the hill cliff. The sunrise is quite amazing, can view from my room. The hotel facilities is quite cosy. Service crews are all polite and welcoming :-)
