From the minute I arrived, Jayne couldn't have been more welcoming. Her enthusiasm and energy is a breath of fresh air. The room's decor lives up to the "olde worlde charm" that is advertised, but so often that is a euphemism for "old and tired" - not in this case! Everything was spick and span, beautifully presented and so very welcoming. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and despite arriving after a 36 hour trip from Barcelona, I didn't have a jot of jet lag after the deepest sleep of my adult life. The property itself is located just a short stroll from the centre of Arrowtown (although it should be noted there is a short hill - perfectly manageable for any able-bodied people, but worth mentioning for people who may not be as mobile). So a perfect location for discovering the town, and for hiking into the hills. Highly recommended property, and I will be back on my next trip to Arrowtown. Thanks Jayne!

Great spacious room with a kitchen, bathroom was large too. Supermarket 5 minute walk down the road. Smart TV with prime, Netflix which was a nice bonus. Easy check in and check out. Lots of parking right next to rooms. Stayed here and visited Queenstown.

    It was our second visit and we stayed for two nights. The history, ambience, restaurants and cafes, architecture, layout and lack of fast food outlets makes Arrowtown so special. We will be back. So much to see, do and experience! The autumn trees and the parks are stunning.

    The Arrowtown Autumn Festival in New Zealand, the beautifully colored autumn mountains were a great healing experience. Other seasons are also beautiful, but the Arrowtown Autumn Festival held every year around the end of April gives a rich autumn feeling in New Zealand.

    The settlers cottage motel was an absolute delight and Jayne and Carl were kind and welcoming. The ideal place for my daughter and I to stay with our friends for a week of skiing around Queenstown. Ideally located for all of the ski resorts near both Queenstown and Wānaka. I hope we’ll be able to come again!

    A cute A-frame cottage in Arrowtown. Compact space, but with everything you need for a couple of days. Great linen and comfy beds. Nice to have a small balcony to sit out in. Only a short stroll down the hill to town.
