An absolute favourite hotel in Arrowtown. Beautiful setting, fully appointed rooms, five-minute walk to the center of all that's happening in lovely Arrowtown. The staff is always kind and helpful, and the extra touches to make us feel welcome are so appreciated. Very highly recommend this quiet, private, small-scale/big care boutique lodge for a special treat.

Every member of your team was warm, welcoming, and eager to assist, which truly enhanced my overall experience. The entire property is a true gem. Its beauty and comfort made me feel right at home throughout my stay, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and amenities. The only suggestion I would like to offer is the addition of an elevator, as it would further enhance the accessibility and convenience of your establishment. We spent a few days at this cabin during the winter and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and stress-free. The cabin was spotless—very clean and clearly well cared for, which made us feel comfortable right away. The kitchen was especially impressive. It had everything we needed for cooking, including pots, pans, utensils, and even a few thoughtful extras that made meal prep easy and enjoyable. It felt like staying in a home rather than a rental, which made a big difference. The cabin itself was warm, cozy, and peaceful. Waking up to the snowy landscape outside was a real treat. Whether we were relaxing indoors or exploring the area during the day, it felt like the perfect winter retreat. Overall, it was a hassle-free, comfortable, and very enjoyable stay. If you're looking for a quiet, well-equipped place to relax during the winter months, this cabin is a fantastic choice. We’d definitely love to return!

What a beautiful, peaceful location. The room was always cosy and warm with or without the heater on, it was great knowing we had a cosy spot to come back to after being out all day facing the cold. The gym was great, simple but having the basics is all you need to get in and out.

The property was fabulous from check in to check out. All the staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The room was well appointed with lots of little fine touches such as a candle and matches by the bath. The wine tasting was fun to do, the food in the restaurant was delicious, we ate in there both nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had a facial in the spa which was the best I’ve had in a long time. We were sad to leave and would happily have spent a few more days there exploring the vineyards and relaxing. But I have to say the staff made it! Thank you for looking after us so well, we will be back!

Lovely historic village set amongst glorious scenery. Good shopping, walking tracks, historic buildings, early Chinese settlement, access to nearby wineries, lake and mountain activities. Lots of tourists - can be a bit crowded in the township.

Arrowtown is lovely to walk around.

Arrowtown is lovely to walk around. Very old and interesting buildings and pretty gardens. It is especially pretty in the autumn with the trees in orange yellow autumn colors. Interesting shops to look at. Nice Cafe and eating places.

Arrowtown is a beautiful location to visit or stay. The mountains and surrounding landscape are simply breathtaking. A superb choice of cafes and restaurants and great shops. Rich in history and still retaining original cottages and buildings make it all the more special.

Quaint little township with cafes and restaurants, chocolate,sweets,movie theatre, museum, relics of a gold mining era. You can still pan for gold. But it is all encompassed by the breathtaking beauty around every part of the South Island in the Winter. 100 percent must See..

It was our second visit and we stayed for two nights.

It was our second visit and we stayed for two nights. The history, ambience, restaurants and cafes, architecture, layout and lack of fast food outlets makes Arrowtown so special. We will be back. So much to see, do and experience! The autumn trees and the parks are stunning.

The Arrowtown Autumn Festival in New Zealand, the beautifully colored autumn mountains were a great healing experience. Other seasons are also beautiful, but the Arrowtown Autumn Festival held every year around the end of April gives a rich autumn feeling in New Zealand.

A cute A-frame cottage in Arrowtown. Compact space, but with everything you need for a couple of days. Great linen and comfy beds. Nice to have a small balcony to sit out in. Only a short stroll down the hill to town.
