Lovely friendly town.
Lovely friendly town. The town centre is beautiful with well maintained gardens. Great restaurants fabulous Friday market. 15 minutes to Palmerston North and 45 minutes to Whanganui. An attractive provincial town with good shopping facilities...
An attractive provincial town with good shopping facilities - several large supermarkets, an excellent Friday open-air market, some good op shops and a very large, weekly Friday livestock sale. An easy, 20-minute drive to the nearby university city of Palmerston North. Loved the Georgian architecture, very good meal at Murray's Irish pub wished we could have tried other places for meals as some of the menus looked good.
