I stayed at the hotel for Christmas, but advise to book in advance during the high season. There are a lot of parking spaces, a cafe and a bar on site, that helped a lot during the public holidays when everything was closed. I had a large new renovation room with a mansard roof and a beautiful view. A lake 5 minutes away, as well as hiking area, 1 hour drive to Queenstown along the lake. Glenorchy is a very beautiful and peaceful place, not overcrowded as Queenstown.

Only 10 mins walk into the centre of Glenorchy and restaurants, hotels. Very friendly owners - the studio is part of the back of their house but with a separate entrance. Good parking too. All new and modern with high quality fixtures and lovely toiletries. Very comfortable! Easy check-in with good instructions.

Exceptionally decorated, had a washer/drier, kitchen was well equipped, and the host was so helpful and put beautiful rose petals on the bed for my son and his partner’s engagement as a surprise.

The staff were lovely and the food was sensational and excellent value. Breakfasts and dinners were the highlight of our day and the home made granola was the best ever. We paid twice as much for dinner at our next stop and it was not even half the quality.
