Booked at the last minute. They waited for us to check in after closing time. The lodge, very nice, cosy and well-kept. Carla and Glen, two lovely people. We felt like family. Too bad Italy is so far away, to go back there soon. If you are on the way, stay even just one night, it's worth it. Thank you Carla and Glen

Salt of the earth staff. Really clean rooms, great for a night's stay if you want to take time to soak up the kaikoura coast line. Loved all the natural products in the bathroom

    Lovely cafe with great food and a wonderful wild beach with...

    Lovely cafe with great food and a wonderful wild beach with many seabirds. Not so easy to get around on foot if you stay at the Lodge because of the main highway with lack of footpaths and no safe crossing. I think staying at the camping ground would have no issues.

    We had a lovely stay in Kekerengu.

    We had a lovely stay in Kekerengu. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax. The accommodation was very comfortable and included the best bed we have had for an away from home stay. We had a great view and enjoyed sitting on the balcony to enjoy the sea air. We had some nice walks on the beach and around Kekerengu in the mornings and evenings .
