Key pick up is a breeze- very informative txt message from the owner. Accomodation immaculate, super comfortable & the full kitchen makes staying away much more cost efficient as you can prepare meals rather than buying out. There is something truly magical about this place. I extended my stay twice because it was that good. It is simplistic yet elegant. The location is peaceful and private. The bed is comfortable. The outside bath is amazing at night under the stars. Everything u need is here for u to use. Highly recommend to anyone.

    It's the ideal getaway for a short vacation.

    It's the ideal getaway for a short vacation. There are numerous short walks and dining options. Henley Lake and the Millennium Reserve are particular favourites and for a longer trip Castlepoint is hard to beat.

    If it wasn’t for the purpose we were there for Masterton is a great place to explore my son and I tried a cafe there our facilities were of convenience to why we were there though. We would like to explore more next time

    Our 2-night stay was about doing a day trip to Castlepoint...

    Our 2-night stay was about doing a day trip to Castlepoint which we achieved. Fabulous spot with lovely sandy beach. Can recommend stopping @ the local store for a feed of Blue Cod & chips. Couldn't have been fresher. Delicious food @ Tripoli & CBK each evening. Coffee @ Strada was good too. Queen Elizabeth Park is worth checking out. Weather not so good so didn't get to see enought of it or do any of the other walks.

    The travel is 6-7 hours from Auckland.

    The travel is 6-7 hours from Auckland. Maybe 2 nights is just right if you want to see all the attractions of Masterton. Unfortunately, we only went to Castlepoint due to time constraints. There is a dairy where we ate lunch.

    Always things to see art museums, parks, kidzown playground, pools, mini putt, sports park, train rides, cafes, movie boutique screenline, Henley lake recreation trails cycling, thrifty shops, kuripuni shops, kingstreet arts centre, ten pin bowling, library etc..always things to do and see..

    Queen Elizabeth park is great, there is a train and boat...

    Queen Elizabeth park is great, there is a train and boat rides and the park itself is huge, on the day we visited there everything was free to go on and there was a mini market so you could buy some food. Then you can go across the road to the pools - indoor and outdoor and that was free also. We liked the compactness of Masterton and its got heaps of shops and heaps of options Makkies, KFC, Subways, PaknSave, Countdown etc. We got Roast meals one night, very yum and way too much. We will be back soon.

    Beautiful garden & olive grove location, lovely area to walk safely. Only 5 mins to Masterton. Very comfortable bed and couch. Tranquil setting. Fresh continental breakfast delivered each day to your unit -amazing selection of items including cereals, breads, ham/salami, cheese, fresh fruit, muffins, jam & honey, orange juice, plunger coffee. All included in the price of your stay. Bathroom included toiletries to use during your stay - handwash, bodywash, makeup remover, hairdryer, tissues. Smart TV with Netflix is always a bonus.

    Lovely old house in the loveliest part of Masterton. Very handy location to supermarkets, town and the Kurapuni movie theatres (the Screening Room). Perfect for a long weekend away to catch a movie festival and be a great launching pad for the southern Wairarapa towns. I had the studio off the main house which was very private. Outstanding hosts, very welcoming and lovely - good suggestions about where to go to do things locally.

    Easy check-in. Easy access to our Carpark and the 2 bedroom apartment for our family of 5 was very spacious, tidy and met the needs for our 1 night stay in Masterton. Had an outdoor play ground, trampoline and pool which we didn’t get to use but great facilities to have for young kids. Had a nice indoor spa which was appreciated as the weather temperature has just dropped recently.
