Amazing hospitality, such a lovely receptionist who even upgraded our room since there were few guest during the night. She followed us to the accomodation, ensured all was fine and came out an extra time to provide us with salt and pepper for our cooking. Very clean everywhere, and had everything we would need. Never stayed at such a nice motel and must say I would recommend staying there to others.

The owner Trisha was absolutely lovely and beyond helpful. I had to stay here due to breaking down around the corner and I wasn’t able to get home for the night. She offered to take me to the local takeaway to pick me up some food as I hadn’t eaten all day and she organised someone to take me home to Tauranga the next day without me even asking. The room was a great size, had a full kitchenette, a comfy bed and an outside smoking area. Everything was spotlessly clean. Thank you for all your help😄

The hosts were so helpful. They live on site however it was very private and when we did see them they were respectful of privacy...but willing to help wherever possible. We got lost looking for the swimming hole so they took the time to show us how to get there. Nice touches like chilled water and jet planes. Warm welcoming and inviting.

Everything! I had an amazing time staying at the Dome. Amir is such a friendly and welcoming host. He made sure I had everything I needed and really made me feel at home. We had the perfect weekend getaway! The place is beautiful, spotlessly clean, with a huge TV and an incredibly comfy bed. The hosts were so kind and made our stay truly special. It felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived – we couldn’t have asked for more!

the location is absolutely incredible - really beautiful lodge with all necessary amenities. Great opportunities to walk in the immediate neighborhood and to explore the gold-mining past of the region.
