It's heaven on earth! We really enjoyed our one night stay and were sad to leave. Everything was top. It was very cleand and the owners were so friendly. We felt like home immediately.

We were welcomed very nicely to the property and shown around the facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The Cottage was immaculate and had a Christmas tree which was nice. Very clean and nicely decorated.

The cottage is very cosy and situated in a very peaceful quiet spot. We enjoyed the view and watching the birds in the big tree outside. It is very private, but we also had the opportunity to chat with the very friendly and helpful owner, who even shared her homegrown bananas with us. We'd happily come again.

The Comfort Hotel Flames was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, the staff were exceptionally friendly and eager to fulfill every request, and the view from the balcony was absolutely enchanting. I highly recommend staying here. I needed an overnight stay before heading to Kaitaia since Air NZ doesn't fly to Kaitaia. Accomodation had all my requirements. Lovely staff, especially on meeting my nephew whom I didn't know was up in Whangarei from Auckland.

I booked this for my 80 yr old uncle who traveled from Rotorua for a funeral. He had car and phone trouble. He said the staff were so helpful with both these things and couldn't do enough to help.

Absolutely beautiful 3 day trip away staying at Mike &...

Absolutely beautiful 3 day trip away staying at Mike & Mark's fabulous cabin. The weather was superb and very still with alot of warmth for this time of year (April). Our privacy was respected greatly and we had the spa pool which was screened off in between the two properties. Couldn't have nicer hosts and their 2 dogs were very respectful also. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay, peaceful and very picturesque!
