The property is spotless, modern, and very well maintained. The house sits high on the hill with impressive ocean views, and the indoor–outdoor layout makes the most of the natural light and scenery. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the whole place feels quiet and private. The kitchen is fully equipped and high-quality, which made the stay easy and convenient. Heating, lighting and blinds are all well set up, and everything worked exactly as expected. Check-in was straightforward, communication was clear, and parking on site was easy. This is a great place if you want a peaceful, comfortable stay with a bit of luxury. I would happily come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Loved this gorgeous retreat! Beautiful room, bathroom and kitchenette. Beautiful garden entrance, beautiful view of Pukerua Bay shoreline over to Kapiti Island. Awesome local path along shoreline to point with views of crashing waves on rugged shore, even a cathedral cove. Stunning landscape looking out from deluxe retreat!

The owners were lovely to talk to, the housekeepers did a great job in cleaning the rooms and services. Myself and my 4 year old son loved the bed we had good sleeps. Fresh paint, new carpet and bed 👌

The accommodation was excellent, very clean and tidy. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and the lady at the reception was very friendly, nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again. Was very close to the shopping centre and close to our aunty's place who we were visiting at the time. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Thank you so much for having us at The Belmont Lodge. Keep up the great work that you're already doing 👍

A bit tricky to enter from Steyne Ave, needs more prominent...

A bit tricky to enter from Steyne Ave, needs more prominent signage, but good to park the car & walk along the waterfront. NZ seabirds active along the shoreline...the gulls wanting your fish"n"chips near the shops. White-fronted terns on the rocks were mating (it's Spring!). Little (Pied) shags abound. No marine mammals seen on day of visit. Town of Mana down the road had more shops & supplies, Plimmerton more residential. Take Greys Road up the hill for a more overall commanding view. Tuis & Kereru (Wood Pigeons) feasting on blossom nectar as you go up the hill.

This is a great B and B. We arrived exhausted and left very well rested. It was spacious for a studio size and lots of cooking options. The owners gave us all we needed in an unintrusive way. The Plimmerton township was excellent with cafes and the esplanade. Train station across the road too. Thanks so much Tom.

The whole place was old but in excellent condition and decor. A lot of effort has been put into keeping the property tidy. An upmarket backpackers . Boutique Hotel would be another description.

The house was beautiful and right on the beach! The facilities were clean and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I was sad I could only stay a short time.
