ChinaA nice immersive experience of NZ farmland life. The location was perfect – close to Arthur Pass. We did have to go to Sheffield or Darfield for dinner, but it wasn't a big hassle. The mountain view was worth it. Llamas were cute.

Compete and amazing kitchen with nice and cute bedrooms. washrooms were spotless and had all the amenities you would need as friends or families. It had games for friends and toys for kids. I was blown away to see this property and we loved each and every moment here. I highly recommend this property. The host were very responsive and gave us all the information timely.

The beds were comfortable, there was a projector and big screen to watch movies, a cool speaker to connect your music, great cooking facilities (many different teas provided as well as variety of Nespresso pods for the coffee machine) and 2 nice couches to chill out on. We loved this place!

JapanAll the facilities were impeccable. You don’t have to worry about the kitchen utensils or anything else.
Clean and tidy inside, staff were lovely. We’re just enjoying chatting with each other so much. They give me a map of Oxford which I can see somewhat we should try in the small town.
Overall, that was one of the most nicest backpackers ever!

Springfield is only an hour from Christchurch yet so close...
Springfield is only an hour from Christchurch yet so close to great scenery for drives and many sporting activities including Mt Hutt Ski Fields plus others. Arthur's Pass is a fabulous drive, Rakaia Gorge is beautiful, the drive to Coleridge Power Station, at the back of Mt Hutt is very scenic. The town of Methven is not far away. And there is so much more to see. Springfield is a fabulous base for so much to do and see!

The hotel is run primarily by the owner's family. There are many loyal repeat guests from New Zealand and Australia, giving it a traditional feel. The owner's kindness is reflected in the cleanliness of the rooms. The owner is Dutch and his wife is Japanese, and they run the place together. I'm Japanese and my English isn't very good, but they were able to help me with things like arranging tickets for my New Zealand train trip. While the facilities aren't the latest, the warm service made up for that.

Louise was really welcoming as we were a touch earlier than anticipated. The views over the alpaca paddock to the mountains were amazing. The accommodation is simple but well insulated and has everything you'd need. The granola was delicious!! We went to dinner one night to Grape & Grain Restaurant which was a 30 min round trip and was also incredible food as no night time food options in Springfield currently. But great location close to mountains with yummy cafe nearby.

A great motel with very comfortable rooms and convenient parking. The hosts are fantastic and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable and even pointed out a great walking track for us. It is ideally located within Springfield and only a short drive to other towns.

It's good locationt to go castle hill.
Moreover room is so clean and good well.
But I think the owner is the best kind person in the springfield. If i come back to NZ i would like to stay here~^^

Breakfast excellent. We are pleased that we made the decision to stay at Springfield, as the driving g through Arthur's Pass was steep and windy.
