This was such a lovely stay. Bruce and Teresa were very welcoming and sent good instructions on how to get there. They were available if needed but not overbearing. The shop / cafe on site was beautiful with some amazing cakes on offer. The rooms and kitchen area were very clean with lovely decor. We honestly can’t fault our stay here at all and would be recommending to anyone visiting the forest around there.

We are absolutely thrilled to have discovered a genuine Canadian-style Lodge here in New Zealand! The tranquility and beauty of the place are incredible, just like the hosts, Nick and Julie, who took the time to make us feel like we were among friends at home. The Lodge is located within a private park, with easy walks for everyone to enjoy. The fresh air and the relaxation in front of a real Canadian fireplace complete the day perfectly.
