Very welcoming hosts and place. We enjoyed the peaceful and quiet lodge and the great facilities. Everything was very clean and the self-sercive breakfast was well prepared and more than sufficient. We also liked the fully equipped kitchen. There is beautiful waterfall nearby. Furthermore the beaches are not far away to drive to.

The owner, Andy, was so welcoming and gave good information about the area. Breakfast the next morning with some made to order options was quite a treat. The property is set in a lovely and peaceful orchard - just a great respite at the end of a busy travel day. Close to both Tutukaka and Whaigarei, it was perfectly situated for exploring and for our dive trip the next day to the Poor Knights Islands.

Absolutely loved the stunning view. The tiny home was incredibly cozy and kept heat in which - for such a cold and wet trip - was a must for us haha. The couple that own it were incredibly friendly and I really appreciated them greeting us. Was lovely to say hello. They were also super helpful.

The cottage is very cosy and situated in a very peaceful quiet spot. We enjoyed the view and watching the birds in the big tree outside. It is very private, but we also had the opportunity to chat with the very friendly and helpful owner, who even shared her homegrown bananas with us. We'd happily come again.
