Easy to find, close to my destination (Hampton Downs), spotlessly clean and tidy, decor was fresh and bright, bathroom was excellent, very clean, good fan for keeping cool at night, mosquito nets on windows so they could be left open at night were much appreciated.

Beautiful grounds in general, everything was spotless on our arrival, the host are more then accommodating and although we didn’t eat the breakfast supplied were thankful for the thought (we just ran out of time that morning) getting to sit and watch the sky change with the cows walking past and beautiful bird song in the background was the highlight of my weekend. Again thank you to the amazing host for your kindness, hospitality and flexibility during our stay.

Amazing views, fireplace, lovely interior of the house. Little personal touches made it very homely. My adult children loved sitting around playing the board games there. Plenty of room.

The staff was great they helped me with other things than just the room. The cafe is part of the motel so I could also eat there which was great!

Location is great, just on the outskirts of town so its quieter and right next to the river so there are beautiful views from the rooms. The people who own the motel are so helpful and friendly. We've stayed about 6 nights so far and every night has been great.

Being back in NZ for the first time in awhile and being able to stay at the Tuakau hotel made my stay even special. Close to family and friends and also my favourite childhood Chinese shop and more. The staff at the motel and also the bar have been very friendly and helpful and I love staying here. It’s like I’m home without being home.
