Such a great little find, a cute holiday park really close to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike. Greg the owner, did everything possible to make sure our stay was comfortable by providing so much information about the area, and particularly the hike and what to expect. He also drove the shuttle bus to the start of the hike which was great and once again explained to the group everything necessary. We felt he really made a huge difference to our visit as we felt someone was there looking after us.

Hot thermal heated pool outside our door! Excellent location in small township, quiet, walk to free DOC thermal walk and short drive to lake. Spotlessly clean!!! 10 stars for cleanliness. The new beds were excellent. The family unit had a lot of room Note: The Tokaanu Hotel is an older establishment, but it is in the process of an upgrade, and the price absolutely reflects this. We would absolutely stay again.

Everything. It's essentially a small unit independent from the main house. Nice deck and chairs and even a small bbq. Using the hot tub was a bonus.

I loved it so much even though it is only a 1bedroom thete is heaps of space, inside and out my dog had a great time there running around the big back yard in the rain. 🙂

The apartment was as in the pictures, big and clean. Breakfast was included and the staff very friendly. Flexible check-in. We used it as a base for the Tongariro Alpine crossing, recommended.

The space and the location was amazing for our group and everyone enjoyed the facilities around. Lot of rabbits running around in the vineyard. The equipments in kitchen and the rooms along with the linen was great. Would definitely stay here again.
