The House Truck itself is wonderfully quirky with lots of interessting details and features - especially the outdoor hottub. We spend an entire evening stargazing in it. Nat and Grant are great hosts. The breakfast was fabulous and we got lots of helpful information. In combination with the location in what felt like the middle of nowhere, it truly was like a whole nother world.

Loved everything about the property. The baby and mummy alpacas, glow worms, stars, wood fire outdoor hot tub, the hill and the creek. it truly is magical. Nat and Grant are super nice and accommodating. Thanks for the pancakes and the early morning transport. please do know that hairdryers are not allowed because there is not enough self-generated electricity.

The cabin is very nice, complete and positioned in a quiet area. it is a pleasure to stay here. The hostess can tell you everything about the activities in the area and is super hospitable. great place to do your walks, boat trips or kayaking trips. Excellent position with lovely views. Great communal fascilities with delicious continental breakfast served daily, including home produced fresh eggs. Very, very friendly atmosphere all round both from the owners and the other guests. Also within touching distance of the Abel Tasman National Park, 20 minute drive to the boats taking you into the park. Lovely garden with very good supply of herbs if you’re cooking at all. Excellent cooking fascilities available in the communal kitchen.

We enjoyed a fantastic four days in the apartment directly overlooking the beach. While there's much to do and see in the area, sitting on the balcony taking in the view was just as enjoyable. We had everything we needed for a great stay: easy parking, a full kitchen, laundry in the unit and the shop right downstairs. It couldn't be more convenient to walk right down the stairs and onto the water shuttles to Abel Tasman.
