So nice small beduin camp, beds were so comfortable, dinner was very delicious, and we have water, tea, coffe and dates available all the time. Pick up and drop off from the meeting location was with no extra charge, and it is only 10 mins drive in the desert. You can easily climb the dunes around. Said is very friendly, he explained us so much about the beduin life, desert and also showed us the stars and name them!

Everything was perfect, the hospitality, location, facilities. The owner will install WiFi to make it even better. The breakfast served by the owner himself was also marvelous. Will definitely come back when in Oman.

The food was unbelievably good, even prepared at our request. The staff were genuine, friendly and incredibly helpful. We got stuck in the sand and they rescued us! Could not recommend this camp enough for your stay in the desert.

This place is so beautiful. The garden created such relaxing atmosphere. The playground was the highlight for our kids. The bed was comfortable and we got an additional mattress too. The staff was really helpful. There was quite a space in the back yard to hang our laundry. We drove to the nearby sand dune in the evening. The view was fantastic and there was enough sand for the kids.

One of the best stays i had in my life. We came as guest but left as friends. I can highly recommend this place!! I would recommend to stay for two nights.

We where driving around the Omani Coast and the mountain with our one car. The Owner Said picked us up outside the village, we left the car there and he drove us to he's beautiful desert wave camp. He's such a friendly men, absolutely amazing and he had so many helpful recommendations for our roudtrip. We went for a Camel ride into the sunset and the next morning we flew with a balloon into the sunrise. We very thankful that we meet Said, we a had very good conversations about the Omani culture. The Alsarmadi Desert Camp is an amazing experience. Our hosts picked us up in the nearby township of Bidiya, and it was only a short 30min drive out to the camp. You are surrounded by sand dunes, but high up enough to enjoy a beautiful sunset/sunrise. The hosts are very welcoming and can organise several activities during your stay in the desert. Some incur extra costs, like camel rides & lunch at a Bedouin camp. Or you can simply enjoy exploring the dunes, like we did. The tents are clean & comfortable, it was the best sleep of our whole trip! And as female travellers we felt safe the whole time. Breakfast & dinner were also delicious. Thank you to Said & his son Alfarooq for a wonderful experience in the desert!
