The beautifully restored historical house with museum located next to the old castle near a wonderful beach in Taqah was our favourite hotel and area during our 2 week travels throughout Oman. The staff were highly competent and great hosts. Service and breakfast were excellent. 10 from 10 points.

This place deserves better reviews. My wife & I stayed here a few nights for the beaches of Salalah and were very impressed. First of all, the staff was incredible. Ibrahim, Ali (and others) were extremely attentive to our needs and went above and beyond retrieving for us two coconuts to drink. Ali made us umm ali upon request (at no charge) which is a delicious Egyptian dessert. Was not expecting that at all and very kind. Rooms were great. Wifi was very good throughout almost the entire complex including our rooms which we know with other resorts doesn't always work. Beach was INCREDIBLE. My wife and I have been to 37 countries and literally dozens of top beaches and this is one of the best in the world we've been to. Not busy at all, crystal clear water (keep in mind this is end of Feburary and March and not the rainy season). Super peaceful chill vibe. Food was great as well. Buffet for breakfast and dinner. The chef even performed some Egyptian music for us in Oman-style tents which was a treat. 10/10 recommend. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. May Jesus bless you 🙏

Exceptional location with a balcony facing the sea a few hundred m away. Schools of dolphins were regularly fishing and playing close to shore, and the beach and over the sea was full of seabirds of numerous species including huge numbers of the local sooty gull. The host was extremely welcoming and supportative both in the planning process and during our stay. Highly recommendable!
