I loved my staying en la Casita del cacao!! I think I couldn't have a better experience feeling the beauty of the nature and the forest. The house has every confort beside being so integrated in the natural environment. When I went, some cacao beans were fermenting and Mei was nice enought to explain me more about the process to transform it into chocolate. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to take the whole tour of the chocolate experience, but I will try my best to come back and not lose this so special experience!

Amazing bungalows, gorgeous garden, nicest staff, delicious breakfast! Best hotel in 14 days of Panama. Overall vibe is incredible. The meeting room looks absolutely perfect (2 screens, beamer, whiteboard), must be so nice to come here as a company for team buildings and meetings. Cutest frogs in the garden and monkeys in the morning.

We liked our stay! The houses are very nice, directly over the water, each house is with its own terrace. Breakfast is delicious. People are very friendly. There was one restaurant opened in the area and we visited it every evening, the dinner was wonderful. Or you can take a boat for 1 USD and in 5 minutes you are on the main island where you can find everything - restaurants, supermarkets, tourist information. If we come to Bocas one more time, Faro del Colibri will be surely the first choice!

Staying at the newly renovated DBP was incredible. We were welcomed to a private part of the island by Marcus, the owner—warm, gentle, and genuinely attentive—who made sure our stay exceeded expectations. It happened to be my wife’s birthday, and Marcus and his local team went out of their way to make it unforgettable. Bonus points for DBP’s eco-friendly vision and passion. Somewhere is a perfect property, well equiped rooms, efficient AC, with shared kitchen/cooking space. Location near the see/beach, we saw monkeys 50 m from the property. Extremely helpful staff.
