We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

Dan & Brian's place overlooks the sea and is just a few steps from a lovely little beach with white sand and coral reefs on either side. They provide snorkelling equipment, paddle boards and kayaks free of charge. The house itself is impressive and the rooms very nicely furnished. Beds super comfy. The pool is a good size and nice and warm, and surrounded by trees full of birds and the occasional sloth or monkey. The food was fantastic and they make great cocktails. They also organised us a private tour to the Zapatillas islands which was idyllic, and they had lots of other great recommendations, including the easy hike to Wizard beach which is stunning and was practically empty.

My husband and I decided to spend a week in Bastimentos. It is a calm place to stay at. The location is perfect, everything's nearby, and it's right in the middle of Old Bank. The deck is a great place to just relax, chill, read a book, listen to some music or watch the sunset. Even though the kitchen is small, it has most necessary things. When in need of a water taxi, please ask for Maya. He's nice, responsible, and very punctual. Finally, the star of our stay, and the cherry on top were the daily breakfast options offered by Kiosco&Pescador. Eunice was the kindest and her food was the most delicious.

We stayed in one of the over water thatched villas. We loved it. Great room, loved sitting out on the deck, brilliant addition having the open sided table where you can feed the fish. Really well organised. Lovely team. We had a brilliant few days.

A quaint and very quiet town, without much tourism or activity. The trip to Bocas costs $5 each way. The amount of trash throughout the town is astounding. The food at the restaurant by the main pier is delicious.

What I liked most about Bastimento was the beach; the neighborhood is very nice, it just needs a little more cleaning. What I didn't like was that the people weren't friendly and the boats were a bit expensive for foreigners.

We already knew it was a place to relax and that you'd need...

We already knew it was a place to relax and that you'd need a boat to get around if you wanted to leave the hotel for a meal, but some people might not like this option. The hotel offers activities for exploring Bocas del Toro.

The place is beautiful.

The place is beautiful. You can hike to Wizard Beach and Red Frog Beach if you're in good shape, following trails through the mountains. It takes about 30 minutes to reach Wizard Beach and another 30 minutes to reach Red Frog Beach. But it's worth it. You can also take a boat or tour to Cayo Zapatilla and other amazing places.

Everything. The place is outstanding, surrounded by nature, sea and wildlife. The huts are lovely and clean and very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner very good and they made vegetarian menu for me. The owners Pierre and his wife are so nice and helpful. They tried to make our days there so special. I give the place 10 points over 10. I recommend this lodge if you’re gonna spend some days in Bastimentos.

The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. We took a tour through the hotel which was a great day with Alejandro, and it was great value. Manuela gave us great restaurant recommendations. Fred and the rest of the hotel staff were so nice The whole stay was just fantaastic

Great apartment with an incredible view over the bay from the balcony and even the bedroom! Very much like on the pictures. Super kind and supportive hosts, well-equipped kitchen, safe neighborhood in the cute Caribbean town of Old Bank.

It was very simple, though this is expected given the location of being at the water front along the Caribbean and of a very simple town. I arrived about noon and they quickly cleaned the restroom, which added.
