Great location by market although can be loud at night particularly on weekends. Owner is very lovely and runs a delicious chicken shop downstairs. Great value for what you get, clean and comfortable.

An excellent hotel. Lovely, clean room. Hot water in the shower. Comfortable beds. Lots of space. Swimming pool was nice, although a little cold. Breakfast was good. Secure parking for our motorbikes (which always comes first). Great location for the town and everything in walking distance.

I love Caraz. It's quiet and surrounded by mountains. I booked one night and have already stayed many more. The staff here are polite and friendly. There is a garden. A great breakfast is included. I can work and I can hike.

Ricky has a dream to make a lovely, comfortable, friendly place to stay for travellers in Caraz-and he is doing a great job of it. Our balcony private double room was a good size, nice views over town, warm comfortable bed and good hot shower with pressure. Ricky is a terrific host, smiling, happy and wanting to ensure you have the best experience possible. He helped with taxis and tours and was always willing to chat or help with anything. This isn’t 5 star- it is authentic, local guy making a lovely hostel for guests to enjoy.

For me it was the best accommodation during my trip to Peru. Dina and Lawrence are incredibly friendly, helpful and uncomplicated. It was no problem to spontaneously extend my stay by a few days. I was allowed to have dinner with them and Diana took the time to show me around. I felt very comfortable and at home. Thank you very much. I hope to see you again.
