Great location very close to the train station but also convenient to the town center and ruins. Beautiful surroundings with lovely flower bushes all around hotel grounds, and a gorgeous mountain backdrop. Clean and spacious rooms. Very helpful staff, safely stored our luggage during our visit to Machu Picchu. Nice tasty and plentiful breakfast.

We upgraded to the room with a comfortable King sized bed. The room and bathroom were spacious with plenty of storage, breakfast was nice, owners were wonderful and helpful, shower with hot water, quiet neighborhood 5 min walk to center. We loved staying here and actually came back after our trip to Macchu Picchu. Highly recommend. Thank you! Bonus--playful dogs (they only come if you call them).

We absolutely loved our stay here. The hosts are so kind and they really run this place as a family. Every detail was perfect from small chocolates on the bed to a wide choice for breakfast. Great warm shower with good pressure. Carmen speaks amazing English which makes it easy to have a nice conversation. It was also super quiet which is special for Ollantaytambo because we stayed three nights in another place and had a completely different experience. Really no comments everything was perfect. We will definitely return here and recommend this to everyone. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the property itself was perfect for our family of four. We booked the quad room, which was surprisingly spacious — our two teenage boys especially appreciated having their own beds after long days of exploring. The location couldn’t be better, with plenty of food options, cafés, and markets just steps away. One of the highlights was that our host filled and heated the jacuzzi just for us — such a thoughtful touch and a great way to relax in the evenings. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Ollantaytambo is a gem of a town, my favorite so far of the Sacred Valley towns I have stayed in. The historic part of town feels like it must have felt with the Incas were living there in precolonial days. The streets are kept immaculately clean. Everything you might need is within short walking distance but does not intrude on the authenticity of the town. The views of the Inca ruins on all sides take you back in time. I would gladly go back for a longer stay. The constant flow of large tourist vans down the main street can be a bit annoying as they don't seem to belong, but you can avoid this. One great thing about Kamma Guest House is that it is not in the main stream.

Awesome characterful town well worth an overnight stay. We would love to return. The archeological site is stunning but don’t forget to spend some time exploring Pinkuylluma. The hike is steep and challenging but short and so worth it.

Strongly recommend to stay in the city instead of doing your...

Strongly recommend to stay in the city instead of doing your Machu Picchu trip from Cusco directly. It would be much less tiring and the city of Ollantaytambo is very cosy and comfortable. Specially if you are coming from outside Cusco and flying in, my recommendation to fly into Cusco and go straight to Ollantaytambo, stay here and visit Machu Picchu. Following by this, go back to Cusco for your stay and fly back. This was a good way we thought to beat the potential high altitude sickness.

Ollantaytambo is a very interesting place in itself. It can also be used as a starting point to visit Machu Picchu and other interesting archeological sites around. It's about 2 hours from Cusco by taxy.

A delightful small town set in dramatic scenery. A bustling town square and a quieter and interesting old quarter with a variety of bars and restaurants The two sets of ruins either side of town are worth a visit for the views.

The hotel is in a fabulous location right next to the train station. They have their own farm which you can visit. We saw where they make the coffee and the distillery. The hotel has a rustic charm with beautiful garden foliage surrounding each lodge. The bed was comfortable, the bedroom spacious with our fabulous balcony with a view of the mountains. The breakfast was good And the staff were friendly.

The hotel has a beautiful view. We stayed in the King Suite with Spa Bath, which was very clean and comfortable. The bed was large and soft, with good pillows and excellent quality bedding. The driver Roni was extremely attentive, picking us up from the center of Ollantaytambo and even offering to carry our luggage.

Lovely quiet hotel on the edge of Ollantaytambo. Walking distance from the train station for Machu Picchu. Comfortable bed, decent shower, and a fantastic breakfast. Biker friendly! Incredibly generous host let me leave my motorcycle and bags at the hotel for two days while I visited Machu Picchu. Amazing.
