The owner is very kind and attentive. He gave us wifi right away, rooms were ready at 9:30am. Bathrooms are clean and equipped. Nights are cold but there is plenty of blankets. Biggest positive surprise was dinner: excellent, 4 courses meal. Fully recommended..

Localisation was perfect, right on Salkantay and Humantay Lake trails. Comfortable beds in cute cabin with glass roof. We could watch the start at night right from our bed! The food was good and the staff was super helpful. Worth every penny!!!

The property was nice and comfortable with a good breakfast and friendly staff. The location while around 2km from the main road, is good for a night stop if you are traveling from Cuzco to Ayacucho. Also, there are some places to visit around (although we had no time to do it).

The staff went absolutely above and beyond for me and my family to ensure that we enjoyed our stay! Initially, we we only booked one night here. However after arriving and seeing how lovely Casona Mollepata was and how kind and welcoming the people of Mollepata were, we decided to extend our trip and we were so happy we did. Fredy and Ruben were excellent hosts, Fredy is a wonderful cook and Ruben is a fantastic artist! They were very knowledgable about the history of Peru as well as things to do in the area. We are very thankful to have found this gem and hope to visit again soon!

Salkantay Lodge Collpapampa is a recently renovated campground in Colcapampa, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar.

New, well maintained andean huts. Hot shower with towels included. Dinner and breakfast were both tasty and filling (but not huge). Pointing out the kindness of the hosts--I forgot some important items at the lodge, and they were happy to assist with sending them over to Aguas Calientes. Super appreciated!
