Manava and Tuatini went out of their way to welcome me and make me feel at home, not every host invites you for dinner and drinks ! The property is some way out of town and very quiet at night, which I loved. The bedroom is basic but clean, the wi-fi works well, the bathroom is immaculate, the washing machine was handy. Sufficient kitchen equipment to self-cater if required. It wasn't clear from the website that car hire is included in the room rate, I only found out on arrival, and it changes the value proposition completely.

Really sweet home in an enchanting place. Just in front you’ll find one of the most beautiful seas, with coral gardens and all kinds of tropical fish to see. The house is simple but nicely decorated with style. We enjoyed the spontaneous cocoa demonstration by Romuald, Vetea’s neighbor and appreciated the warm welcome by Vetea. This is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the easygoing Tahitian vibe.

EVERYTHING :) It is a bit on the expensive side, but still far from OWB prices. And basically you get one of the most wonderful beaches and snorkel-spots you can imagine. Rooms are tidy, wonderful, and it indeed feels like a Garden of Eden, or a Village. We walked by foot from the ferry - 2 minutes walk on the shore. Shops, foodtrucks nearby - the restaurant is second-to-none. Stuff are not just friendly, but incredibly funny, in a good way. We celebrated my birthday night here - I will never ever forget it :)

Best hostel experience I ever had! The hostel itself is basic but has everything you need. The location is incredible; it’s in a small village by the lagoon and there is a stunning 1 hour walk to a perfect deserted beach. Natalie who runs the hostel is a legend, she makes every new arrival feel like family and her energy is infectious. I loved our dance class and traditional French Polynesian group meal. I’ll always remember my Alaroots stay!

The presentation pictures of the accomodation, although beautiful, don’t do enough justice to the guest house. An extremely balanced mix of authentic touch with modern amenities. You have to be well aware that coming to Huahine means embracing the nature and the local vibe. Franck has been extremely lovely and helpful with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this stay to people who understand and embrace the rustic vibe and that want to have a authentic island experience.

    Great stay at Vetea place, friendly host living around in another house with his family, house is comfy despite being a bit dark inside, local style, kitchen ok, showers ok, moskito net and fans, big terrace and place around. Great place to stay on Huahine with beach and kayaks at your doorstep to enjoy a great lagoon, deep at last (2 to 10m+) for swimming, snorkelling, watersport (wing, kite...).
