Fare Om has a welcoming calm atmosphere.. large lounge and open plan kitchen. The staff are lovely & helpful. I think it's really good value for money & would stay again if I ever come back to Mo'orea. Just one thing not related to Fare Om but be careful as a female solo traveller.. I got harassed by some men a few times mainly around Cooks Bay area. Opunohu Bay is much nicer and I felt safer there. Anyway, the meals Maud prepares if you order them are delicious and great value. Mauruuru roa!

Firstly, I wanna say a big Thank you to our host that helped us with everything: rent a car, airport transportation, restaurant bookings etc ! The villa is facing the ocean, has a beautiful pool and sun loungers area. You have access to a shared kitchen and an outside dining area. We used the kayaks daily and saw beautiful corals and colorful fish in front of the villa. The room was super clean and we had everything we needed. They offer great value for money, especially considering we are talking about French Polynesia. We even got all sort of morning treats (donuts, croissants, pancakes) even though they don’t offer breakfast on site. Thank you again, totally recommend if you need a base to explore for a longer stay on the Island.

EVERYTHING PERFECT! Accomodation looks exactly like the illustrated pictures (probably live even better). A declicious breakfast is being served to your requested/agreed time with very much detail and freshness (you can´t ask for more). A very lovely couple which are very supportive. Laurent called many excursion companies for swimming with whales and made it possible (even though it was peak and on short notice). Side note, the excursion was successful and we were indeed lucky and able to really swim with whales (accompanied from dolphins) in open water. Insane experience and a must do! Unforgettable 3 days at Moorea and so nice owners with Raquel and Laurent.

    Amazing location right on the beach.

    Amazing location right on the beach. Perfect size bungalow for our 2 families, 7 total people. People gather at the beach and dock in front of the house because it is the best place to watch sunrise/ sunset. Huge trees in front of the house provide shade. Scubapiti dive center right next door, run by Henry, an excellent guide. Dive boats leave from the dock in front of the house. We also used the tennis court on the property and it was nice. If you are looking for a beach house for a dive vacation, this is the one. Decor is quaint, and simple-- house is rustic rather than modern or stylish. 2 kayaks on site which we used a lot. Restaurants in the area are hit and miss; consider eating at the house as the view is unbeatable. Hostess is friendly.
