My daughter stayed with host Murielle for three nights and four days and her hospitality was truly exceptional! She experienced the real Moorea & French Polynesian culture of kindness, care and hospitality from Murielle and other local people. Staying at Fare Mihimana was a pleasure, being able to rest and relax in a beautifully furnished guestroom with everything you need, and it was nestled in a tropical garden paradise. Murielle gave some fruits growing in her garden to eat in a fruit bowl on the dining table. Fare Mihimana is located within a short walking distance of the ferry dock at Vai'are which is so handy with lots of services, shops, supermarket, eateries close by. Murielle gave great tips on visiting local spots and helped organise taxi and recommended excursions and things to do on Moorea. My daughter will never forget her wonderful stay at Fare Mihimana. Nice hostel, calm place under trees. I rented a bicycle for a half day at the hostel. Spend only a day (due to my trip plan), but I would live here for few days more.

Wonderful host, great area, comfortable little cabin, clean, nice layout, close to restaurants and the sea, great value. Before arriving at Maharepa we stayed at a different accomodation and moving to Maharepa really improved our overall experience on the island! Highly recommend this place

I was staying in the bungalow in the lovely garden of this place. The double bed has a mosquito net, a fan and is nicely decorated with a night light, It felt like staying at a friend's house. I also rented the scooter to get around the island. You can walk from the house to the best beach of the island but I would say you definitely need a set of wheels to get around Moorea. The kitchen is well-equipped and spotless and it's really nice to have the big table outside under the veranda to meet other travellers. The owner Nick is really friendly and helpful and I appreciated his restaurant recommendations. As a former chef, he knows all the best places on the island.

This is great value for a family to stay on Moorea. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a family of four, and the lodge also has a restaurant. The breakfasts were great, particularly the coconut bread. This is a great alternative to a fancy resort for people who are travelling as a family.
