My daughter stayed with host Murielle for three nights and four days and her hospitality was truly exceptional! She experienced the real Moorea & French Polynesian culture of kindness, care and hospitality from Murielle and other local people. Staying at Fare Mihimana was a pleasure, being able to rest and relax in a beautifully furnished guestroom with everything you need, and it was nestled in a tropical garden paradise. Murielle gave some fruits growing in her garden to eat in a fruit bowl on the dining table. Fare Mihimana is located within a short walking distance of the ferry dock at Vai'are which is so handy with lots of services, shops, supermarket, eateries close by. Murielle gave great tips on visiting local spots and helped organise taxi and recommended excursions and things to do on Moorea. My daughter will never forget her wonderful stay at Fare Mihimana. The place was really nice and welcoming. Loved our bedroom with a big and comfortable bed, clean house, refrigerator for storing food, kitchen to cook, a lot of space both inside and outside to stay and relax. It was simple and perfect for us.

Beautiful setting by the sea. The public wharf is 1 minute walk from the hotel. The supermarket is 12 minute walk from the hotel. Nearest restaurant (pizza) 5 minute walk from hotel. We rented a car through reception.

This was our first stay on Moorea. We were in awe when we walked in. It was difficult to find at first, but once there, we traveled the island on scooter and found our way easily. The view was spectacular, with sunrise from the bed or balcony each morning. Private beach not really good for snorkeling, but easy to get to Temae beach. We did not get breakfast as did some other reviewers, but that was not a problem. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor bathroom was perfect! Frederique was friendly. Eat at Motu Grill next door. It is fantastic!
