My daughter stayed with host Murielle for three nights and four days and her hospitality was truly exceptional! She experienced the real Moorea & French Polynesian culture of kindness, care and hospitality from Murielle and other local people. Staying at Fare Mihimana was a pleasure, being able to rest and relax in a beautifully furnished guestroom with everything you need, and it was nestled in a tropical garden paradise. Murielle gave some fruits growing in her garden to eat in a fruit bowl on the dining table. Fare Mihimana is located within a short walking distance of the ferry dock at Vai'are which is so handy with lots of services, shops, supermarket, eateries close by. Murielle gave great tips on visiting local spots and helped organise taxi and recommended excursions and things to do on Moorea. My daughter will never forget her wonderful stay at Fare Mihimana. Everything is to like: the place is brand new, in very good taste, perfectly clean, the location is very nice (you can do some snorkeling just there, with a bit of luck you can even spot small cute octopuses 🥰🐙), the staff is very helpful and the Chef very talented, so you need not look any further for a good meal.

Beautiful setting by the sea. The public wharf is 1 minute walk from the hotel. The supermarket is 12 minute walk from the hotel. Nearest restaurant (pizza) 5 minute walk from hotel. We rented a car through reception.

Absolutely everything, perfect stay. The lodge is absolutely beautiful - 10/10. We stayed at the Hilton and Sofitel while on the island but this lodge scored the highest for us on great value and friendly stay. Things we liked - • comfy bed • great, large balcony with nice chairs • well equipped, clean kitchen and bathroom • extremely clean • FREE pick up and drop off from port - which is very expensive in French Polynesia • most friendly, kind and helpful owners • idyllic garden • lovely owners with help you organise tours, trips and things to do on the island • great location on the island - minutes walk from great restaurants, fantastic bakery, bank, supermarket, pharmacy and beach cafes • could easily stay here days / weeks!

This was our first stay on Moorea. We were in awe when we walked in. It was difficult to find at first, but once there, we traveled the island on scooter and found our way easily. The view was spectacular, with sunrise from the bed or balcony each morning. Private beach not really good for snorkeling, but easy to get to Temae beach. We did not get breakfast as did some other reviewers, but that was not a problem. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor bathroom was perfect! Frederique was friendly. Eat at Motu Grill next door. It is fantastic!

What an amazing stay. The Apartment is beautiful, very clean, new and a lot of space and privacy. We enjoyed every minute there. Bed is comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Hina, the host is so nice and always available when you need her help. The surrounding is also perfect, there is a wild private beach just in front of the Apartment. You can hear the sound of the sea from the terrace. We will for sure remember about this perfect stay for a very long time.
