I absolutely loved the women that owned the RGE hotel, she was kind, sweet and thoughtful. I could see her vision of what she wanted in a vacation place to stay. It was minutes from a great beach. As well I felt very safe and it was clean and the staff was friendly. I would recommend it and stay there again. Some of the buildings on the property were still under construction, like the restaurant and the function hall and I can't wait to see it when it's done.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed — something you rarely encounter with such sincerity. The location is both central and peaceful, making it ideal for exploring Palompon while still enjoying quiet rest. Cleanliness was impeccable. The host and staff deserve a rating of 20 out of 10 — incredibly helpful and genuinely attentive to every guest’s needs. The kitchen was luxurious, and each room featured double air-conditioning, which ensured comfort at all times. The value for money was exceptional. The absolute highlight of my stay was the host himself — by far the most dedicated and caring person I've met during all my travels. Whether it was local advice, practical help, or just warm hospitality, he went above and beyond every day. While the property is already great, it's being continually improved, and the Wi-Fi stability is an area with room for enhancement — though the speed itself was sufficient. I wholeheartedly recommend Calel Guesthouse to everyone, especially first-time travelers to the Philippines.
