Skyline is one great place to go to see Mt.
Skyline is one great place to go to see Mt. Mayon but unfortunately it was raining hard when we got up there, the volcano is not visible. Sumlang lake is a good place to go as the volcano is it’s backdrop. There’s a lot of big malls if you’re into shopping. Restaurants and hospitals abound in every location. Check the weather map so that you increase your chances of getting a full view of Mayon Volcano. Do consider booking properties outside Legaspi (Daraga) The tourists attractions are all near Daraga. The vibe is really laid back so we were able to relax.
The vibe is really laid back so we were able to relax. Guests should be equipped to deal with the weather. The Mayon can be viewed everywhere! Try the Hoyop hoyopan cave, and their spicy pinangat. Summer, the host was very friendly and helpful with information about the city, the volcano and various activities for tourists. The hostel itself is very spacious. The dormitories are comfortable, bathrooms clean and the roof terrace offers fantastic views of the city and the vulcano. JDL is the only hostel in the Legazpi so it's your best shot at meeting other travellers.
