The breakfast is very good! The family is very accommodating. They helped us a lot in finding our ways to different places. From the airport all the way to the known places of Bohol we were so amazed by the hospitality of the driver and the host. It was really a great vacation for my family! Very cute place with spacious and comfortable room. AC is really cold and the shared bathroom is big and clean with plenty of water pressure. The hosts are friendly, the dinner is great, well-priced and served right in front of your room😄. There are cold drinks available for very, very fair price. We will come back if we are ever in the area again! Also the cats are adorable.

Fox & Firefly Cottages is an amazing place. Everything is so beautiful and natural and the service is more than 5*. The restaurant is also perfect, one of the best that I visited (food, coctails, service). I would like to thank you for the whole staff their kindness, caring and helpful attitude, especially for Gidy and Steff from the restaurant and for Sandra and Fernie from the front desk. I hope I’ll have to come back once :)

We had the great luck to choose this place to spend our Christmas. The owner and the staff made our stay unforgettable, and for that, we are very thankful. The hotel is cozy and very clean with a small cabins around a garden. The rooms are beautifully decorated and had a big comfortable bed with several pillows, and outside you have a little porch to relax. Also I recommend you to try the restaurant. We loved the carbonara and the chicken curry for a really good price. Thank you all :)

I'm never disappointed when staying in this place. I've been here twice, and it's a cozy place to stay after a long adventure. Definitely recommend this place, not just affordable, clean and nice owner, you, can also enjoy nature and its fresh air. Left this place with the fresh papaya, owner gave me the best papaya they have in the garden. Thank you so much!

    We had planned to do river trips but instead just did our...

    We had planned to do river trips but instead just did our own paddling on the river. The river isnt particularly special and it seems there are limitations to the trips (e.g. frequently you cant swim at the falls). It does have a strong current so be careful when in the water. The hotel provides a guide in case of difficulty. BTW: The Tarsier "sanctuary" was a massive disappointment. Just a photo op. Chocolate Hills platform gives a lovely view, but an hour is enough. We did these on the way to the hotel, so saved a day trip.

    Loboc is a beautiful place to stay because most of the well known attractions like Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruises, and the famous Tarsiers are all so close to Loboc. If you intend to see those places, Loboc is the best one!

    Staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Restaurant was top notch with lot's of delicious dishes to choose from. Location is a must if you want to see Loboc river, Chocolate hills, and tarsier sanctuaries. The hotel itself is nestled between the river and surrounding forest. We really enjoyed the hotel massages and how immersed in nature the hotel is, having monkeys and a meditation wellness space available for use. We also enjoyed using the paddles and kayaking the river with the equipment the hotel provides.

    Great dining experience - we had a dinner/breakfast/lunch...

    Great dining experience - we had a dinner/breakfast/lunch and they are good with reasonable price. We also tried "fireflies tour" at 6:30pm and kayaking at 9am next day, the experience was great too. The rooms are OK. Given the rooms are built on top of swamp, you cannot compare them with rooms in the city.

    I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit!

    I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit! We had the most fantastic time staying at The Water to Forest Ecolodge and hired scooters to visit the chocolate hills and explore various waterfalls (head off early and you'll probably find you have Pangas Falls all to yourself (it cost about 20pesos to access & had a shop selling drinks and snacks on the roadside). The scenery is absolutely stunning and the locals are just the friendliest we've ever encountered. A beautiful place, I feel very privileged to have visited.

    Loboc was a great place to explore the sights of bohol and the loboc river. Quite far from Panglao / alona beach so don’t recommend basing yourself here if you want to do more beach stuff/ island hopping. Would recommend one or two full days in Loboc- you can do the chocolate hills and tarsiers in the same tour. Also Paddleboarding down loboc river was really fun. Evening Firefly tour was special too! Loboc river resort was a great place to base yourself- and the food in the restaurant amazing! Avoid the animal park/butterfly farm it’s cruelty! But do go to the tarsier sanctuary in corella as they treat the tarsiers better (or so the lonely planet says!) than other places.

    Very nice ecolodge at Loboc River. You can also enjoy a good swim from the hulk. The staff is welcoming. You can directly rent a scooter at the hotel to discover the area. We didn't test the activities offered as appeared more expensive than the ones we booked by ourselves.

    First of all the Hostel is absolutely beautiful! The staff is super nice and friendly and the location next to the Loboc river is great. Tours organised by the Hostel are good value, but a bit more expensive than other operators. The food in the restaurant was really good!
